Kenadee's POV
My eyes shot open as I gasped. Everything was blurry at first but then it turned to normal. There were nurse's and doctor's crowded around me. I opened my mouth but couldnt speak at first, a nurse held a glass of water to my dry lips and tipped it so I could drink. My throat felt much better, I was able to croak out a few words. "What happened?" They began to smile a bit. They all some what filled out except one nurse and a doctor, I guess they were the ones taking care of me. "You dont remember what happened?" I shook my head but then I stoped and nodded. I remember now, I was in a car accident. But something else was wrong, I cant remember. Then it hit me, my baby. I was able to move now and rubbed my stomach then began to panic. "Wheres my baby?" The nurse tryed to calm me down telling me its alright. "Shes fine, you gave birth while you were out." I sighed in relief. "Kenadee, this may come as a bit of a shock but you've been asleep for 16 years" I turned to him shocked and confused. How could that happen? "But your alright now, you may not be able to move as well cause your muscl-" I didnt listen to the rest. I was so dazed and confused and wanted to know so much. What happened to my kids? Is Andy ok? Did he move on? Whats happened while I was gone? "Alright?" I shook my thoughts away and looked at him and nodded. They left and shut the door. I felt my hair, it needed to be washed. In fact, I need a shower. I hung my legs on the side and lifted off the bed, only to fall to the ground. My legs were weak, I guess this is what he was rambling about. I heard the door open then a formilur voice. "Kenadee?"
Andy's POV
We've been waiting for almost an hour and they still arent telling us anything. It was late to begin with, the kids knew that and went home so they could be ready for school tomorrow. School started just last week and I didnt want them to get in the habit of being late. The others, besides Ashley, went home as well since most of them have kids aswell but I couldnt leave. It was just me and Ashley left. The door opened as the doctor walked out with satisfied emotions plastered on his face. I jolted to my feet to meet him half way. "What happened?" The doctor smiled. He stepped aside and directed his hand to the door. "She woke up"I didnt waste anytime. I ran into the room but she wasnt on the bed. "Kenadee?" And hand rose by the other side of the bed. "Over here" I ran to her, she was laying on the floor. "I tried to walk, don't think im quite there yet" I laughed then fell to my knees by her, crying. I picked her up and held her tight. "I missed you so much" she hugged me back and laughed a bit. "Was 16 years that long?" She said in a sarcastic tone. I drew back a bit to look at her but not much, I didnt want to be apart from her. "So your aware of everything that happened?" She nodded. "The doctor talked to me before he left." I sighed in relief, I held her close once again. I picked her up and laid her on the bed. "Wheres Oliver and our daughter? I didnt find out what you named her." I smiled, shes so excited. " Chelsea, we named her Chelsea. Their at home but im gonna call them to come up here." She grinned and sat up in excitement. I got up and dialled Olivers number while Ashley walked in. They began to talk as the phone rang.
"Dad?"
"Hey, I need you and your sister to come up here. Shes awake."
