Thank you so much for coming this far with me! It had been an incredibly adventurous journey 😄.
This story started as a little fun project which was supposed to take my mind off my ongoing trilogy for a while. At the beginning I wasn't even sure it would reach 20k words, and then suddenly the story grew into a 40k words long novella, where I had to cut a few ideas and at least one chapter to make it fit the final word count. But here it is, finally completed.
Participating in the ONC was a great new experience for me, I met so many of you, wonderful, supportive writers and readers along the way. Thank you for reading and good luck in the final round! ♡
Just a few pictures:
That's ^ the real Pipevine (Blue) Swallowtail 😄 (I don't own the pictures, they are from Pinterest).
Here are two Hans Christian Andersen's stories which I found here on Wattpad (you can find them on my 'ReReading the classics reading list') :
And here's one of my most favourite books:
Which of Andersen's stories have you 'spotted' in my story? Here are some: The Snow Queen, Thumbelisa, The Little Mermaid, The Red Shoes, Tinder box, The Wild Swans, The Rose Elf, The Nightingale, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Butterfly, Little Ida's Flowers, The Little Match Girl... and these are just a few of his many, many (160!) fairy tales.
And of course, thank you Kaiddance for the amazing cover! ♡
