Beatrix was in her "bedroom", wishing she wasn't a witch. She was forced to have a bedroom that was small and hidden so that if witch-hunters enter the house, they won't be able to find her. Beatrix's mother had always told her it was for her safety, but still, Beatrix kept telling her mother she wanted to have a normal bedroom.

While Beatrix was twirling her wand, her mother called out, "Bee, there are witch-hunters coming towards our home! Don't make any noise and don't get out of your room! I am afraid that they might "visit" us!"

Beatrix was scared, she wished that she her mother didn't live in the village, but it would be too suspicious to live in the wild. Witch magic isn't too powerful, yet the Normal are scared.

Beatrix thought she heard the door open, she was sure it was the witch-hunters even though she could not she hear them or see them. She heard footsteps near her "bedroom" entrance and the sound of the footsteps slowly subsided seconds later.

About 15 to 20 minutes later, Beatrix could hear the door creak, and that it was possible the witch-hunters had left. Beatrix decided to stay still a little while longer just in case it was a trick.

But she heard nothing and left her "bedroom", she could not hear her mother nor could she see her mother anywhere. Beatrix panicked, had the witch-hunters take her mother? She rushed to a window and looked out, she couldn't see her mother nor the witch-hunters anywhere. Beatrix decided to wait.

The next day, Beatrix mother still isn't back home. Beatrix looked out of a window and still didn't see her mother anywhere. Then two elegant looking ladies were right outside of Beatrix's house, Beatrix went to the closest place possible to eavesdrop on the ladies.

    Beatrix heard:

    "Is this the house?"

    "Yes, Mary."

"Julien, I feel like there is still someone in the house."

"The witch-hunters checked properly yesterday, there was nobody else."

    "But, Mary-."

"You know, I felt sad that the witch-hunters caught her yesterday, Becky was a fine woman."

    "Felt?"

"I was at first angry at the witch-hunters for taking Becky, but then the more I thought about it, I realized that it was for the best. Becky could easily attack the village at any time."

"Why would she want to attack the village? I don't she any reason."

From there, Beatrix didn't want to listen anymore. Her mother was imprisoned! Beatrix felt like she had to do something but she didn't know what to do. She couldn't ask anyone for help, she hasn't met any witches before.

But on the next night, she had a plan.
