Chapter 2

A vast array of birds chirped among the tall, branchy trees. The waves were serene, so serene in fact that it was as if a large, smooth mirror was set before me. The man gave me a necklace with a silver bell that tinkled quietly. A name tag that read 'Luna'. I was the feline, ghost, that belonged to the bright moon. The white rays of pure light cast a silvery path through the darkened forest. My paws trembled and my tail flicked the invisible flies away. My eyes glistened in the hallowed darkness. My feet trampled along the mossy floor as I left to hunt. This however came to no avail. My white fur gave me away too easily. I was a bed in a bathroom. I was too out of place. My eyes, one of them being green the other blue, do not help me in that situation. I shuffled back to the tents after fifteen fails of catching the same darn mouse.
