Chapter 6

Sunday: Neighborhood; Sunrise

We're now left off from the events after Chapter 5. If you're so confused on what happened from the previous chapter, let's have a recap on the events stirring around up to this point. Like our previous recap, Flaire's consciousness will be narrating it. Now take it away Flaire!
Flaire's Summary of the story:
Hi again, I'm Flaire Alfara. I'm here to discuss on what happened before we begin this chapter. So here's what you need to know. Last Thursday, my friend Calvin became Sunlight. I couldn't believe that he got his resolution to become the hope beacon of this story! And yesterday, I meet up with Anastasia and learn more about Elise's hobby. And awhile ago, Elise became the color of sincerity who's name is Aqua. I knew that she can become a Yielder because of her giving a Blue Aura. In all seriousness here, how was I able to see other people's auras? Is it because of me being able to understand them? I just don't know... Then that's all I can give... Now... Let's start this chapter quick! Someone saw us!
Oh yeah... As the narrator, I have to backup Flaire's consciousness here. So what basically happened is that Derick here witnessed everything. Do you think he did? If he really did, then does he plan to expose them?
Marie: No way... You...
Derick: Can you please answer my question first?
Elise: Well uh...
Flaire: Derick... To explain that is...
Derick: Hard? I see... Then I won't pressure you guys to answer it. Besides, the others need to know that the monster, which I now know is called Hakanai exited this neighborhood. C'mon guys. They need to know that they're gone, and we'll continue to press on this matter later.
Calvin: Right...
Marie: Then what are we waiting for? Let's go meet up with them to inform what's going on.
Flaire: Right... Let's make our way.
From there, they all make their way to where Calvin's family went. They're searching them everywhere, and found them at the Central Park sitting on a bench. With their expressions, they seemed to be frightened by the fact that someone's missing. They all went close to them to explain everything about what happened.
Calvin: Dad... Sis... You thought I'm dead?
Tamorez: Calvin! Oh thank goodness you're fine! Why are you losing track of us when we're evacuating?
Calvin: Well... You can Marie if you want an explanation.
Marie: Yeah... We're trying to find any people around the area, but seemed to be less likely to happen so...
Cassidy: The monster though... Do you have a feeling that it'll attack the whole city at any moment?
Elise: That's... Uh...
Flaire: That's a less likely to be possible.
Calvin: (Since when did Flaire speak straight without stuttering? I mean she didn't stutter a lot, but not all the time she spoke straight.)
Cassidy: How sure are you?
Flaire: Well... We've witnessed the monster, which for a fact is called "Hakanai", being purified by unknown heroes or such.
Cassidy: Wait... HEROES?!
Tamorez: You're gotta be kidding me, right? Heroes? Like the power rangers from my childhood?
Yeah... Aside from Among Us existing of the RE universe, Power Rangers also exist in the same universe. Reference here and there... I even wonder if even more references from different anime or games be in this story or for a future story. I can't wait for your surprises to come. Writer.
Derick: Sort of. And also, I love that show since I was a kid. How about you Calvin?
Calvin: Meh. I watch Geology Documentaries.
Elise: Okay... Let's not derive the question any further.
Cassidy: Also... When you said "heroes", I remember that discussion we had last Thursday during lunch time.
Flaire: Yeah... Calvin mentioned that he met a superhero.
Calvin: I said "might've" for your information Flaire.
Flaire: O-Oh... Yeah... And he also add that the superhero he met is a red girl who came from earth, and called herself as "Scarlet".
Calvin: (And an awkward silence follows after the mentioning of the name. Seriously. That's a funny and awkward time.)
Elise: And that's also the same day where in I met them to gave Flaire a letter from Marie... Who's noticably silent by now.
Marie: Uh Elise... You also need to know that some people can't talk fluently all the time.
Thanks to Marie mentioning that, Derick has been struck with a question... "Why is Flaire more confident than usual?" Anyways, everyone decided to tell their neighbors about the situation. After that, the Yielders, Marie and Derick head off to the store. As on what time... It's around this time...

As the team and Derick entered the store... Elise starts to freak out inside because of how much she knew Derick for so long.
Elise: (Inner panic attack... Because the both of us are the most honest ones at school. Even though I'm honest, I can lie. For Derick though... It's another story...)
Marie proceeds to enter the secret base alongside with the Yielders. For some reason, Derick stay put in the store and observes his surroundings. With the Yielders... It's pretty obvious. Marie talks about the basics and the mini calendar to Elise. That's when the "Stalker Derick" came into the topic.
Elise: Guys... Did you even notice that Derick has been following us this whole time?
Flaire: W-WAIT WHAT?!
