Dean's POV
~~~~~~~~
This Cas kid wasn't so bad actually. Personality...and looks wise. W-what the hell am I saying?! I like women...I can't possibly have feelings toward him. I can't, I barely know him. But his midnight black hair and sapphire blue eyes pierce right through my soul. And the laugh lines that appear when he smiles are to die for...
"So Dean, where's your vehicle of choice at?"
I blink and shake my head, trying to clear my head of what I was just thinking about.
"You mean where's my baby at? Why, she's right over here."
We walk up to my 1967 model Chevy Impala.
"1967 Chevrolet Impala. She's got a V8 327 4 Barrel Engine, 275bhp Horsepower, 3speed Auto Transmission, and has a Sedan body."
I smile and rub my hand on her hood.
"I didn't understand most of those words, but I think I get what you're trying to tell me." He gives me a grin. I walk up to the drivers side door, open it and sit down.
"Leather seats suited to seat 5 or 6 people." I pat the seats "Get in."
Cas opened the door carefully, and sat down. I started her up and drove off. Cas just sat there, looking out the windows, watching everything pass by. His blue eyes darting as trees, telephone poles, people, and cars that went by. It was like watching a little kid. I faced the road again and I turned on the radio and to my surprise, AC/DC's 'Back in Black' was playing. I smiled and looked over at Cas and mouthed, I love this song, and started tapping my fingers on the steering wheel. Cas sat there with a blank expression on his face.
I turn down the radio, "Hey, Cas, you not a big fan of AC/DC?"
"I'm not much for this...kind...of music." He looked at me, furrowing his eyebrows and giving a sheepish smile. Damn, he was so cute. His eyes make me melt. I could stare at them all da-
"DEAN!!" Cas' voice cut me off, "the road. Watch the road!"
I swerved to one side, horns were blaring, "Shit! Thanks for telling me man, that would've been seriously bad.." My heart was racing, I shook my head. Cas was silent until we made it to the diner.
We walked across the gravel parking lot, hearing the gravel move and shift beneath our feet. Cas was in front of me, his trench coat swaying effortlessly in the cool breeze. His walk was slow-paced and careful. It's was almost peaceful and graceful. I quickened my pace to meet up with him before entering.
I open up the door before Castiel has the chance to, "Ma'am." I let out a small snicker.
"Thank you, Dean." Castiel replied as he walked in and found a booth near the back by a window looking out toward the road. We both sat down, across from each other. I picked up a menu and instantly put in back down. I already knew what I wanted. Cas picked up a menu and looked at it flustered.
"Dude, you have it upside down, it'd help if it was right side up." I chuckled and turned it around for him. He put his palm to his face and smiled. Not one of those grins that show no teeth, I'm talking about a genuine smile; all teeth. His pearly whites stared back at me, although not completely straight, they seemed perfect to me. He gave me such a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.
"It's been a long day I suppose." Cas put down the menu.
"Yeah, I guess, although it's only quarter past 4." I laughed.
The waitress came up to our table, "I'll have a bacon cheeseburger, and a slice of the best pie you have." I looked over at Cas. His eyebrows were furrowed and his eyes squinted. He's cute when he's thinking...
"I, uhm, I'll just have a slice of pie. Apple pie, please."
"So, Cas, what's your story? Hm? Where are you from?"
