"Scaramouche! I have something to tell you!" You excitedly yelled as you barged in your house. The dark navy blue haired man turned to look at you with a soft expression on his face, "What is it? It better be something impor— wait, why are you wet?"
You giggled, slightly jumping when you made it beside him. Waterdroplets cascading down your body but you didn't pay any attention to it.
His forehead creased, "Y/N, what happened–"
"I got a vision!" You announced, your eyes gleaming as you showed him the [f/e] vision you just obtained.
His body froze, looking at the glowing crystal orb in your hand.
"H-how did you..."
"A kid was drowing by the waterfall earlier and when I managed to save her, this just suddenly appeared out of nowhere," you explained, eyes focused on the item, "I should train how to use this then maybe I'll sign up for the Adventurer's Guild! And maybe I can explore Teyvat now too without having to worry–!"
"NO."
You stopped, raising your head at him in shock, "What?"
His face darkened, stretching his hand out to you, "You don't need that. Give it to me."
You backed away which seemed to added fuel to the fire.
"Y/N..." he called in a warning tone.
You clutched the vision into your chest, "B-but I do need it. I also want to go out and explore–"
"You don't have to explore the world. Are the souvenirs I've been bringing you not enough?"
"Of course I'm happy with the souvenirs you've been giving me but it's different if it's the actual place!"
"You're safer here, y/n. You don't need to leave," he stated blankly, trying to hold himself back, "Now give it to me."
Tears started to form in your eyes. You thought he would be happy for you.
"I-I'm sorry," you sniffed, "But I don't want to!"
He huffed out a breath in disbelief, combing his hair with his fingers, "Ah, have I been to lenient?"
"W-what..."
"It's my fault. I shouldn't have let you out of this house in the first place," he uttered, thinking deeply of his actions, "I should've locked you in the room instead. Then this wouldn't have happened."
A tear escaped your eye, "What are you talking about?"
He looked back at you, "Y/N, please hand me that vision while I'm asking nicely."
"I-I'm sorry but I really can't!"
You quickly turned away to run but the door slammed shut infront of you. You shivered when you felt his body close behind your back.
"S-Scar... please," you silently cried, hoping that he would listen.
"You're safer here with me, y/n," he whispered in a silvery tone, reaching for you chin with his fingers then gently pulling your head sidewards. His other arm crawled around your cold and wet body, his warmth enveloping you as he locked you in place.
He planted small kisses on the traces of tears on your cheek, "You don't need to explore the world, y/n. You only need me as I am to you. So please, don't leave and stay here for me."
He softly bit your ear, licking it afterwards, "I love you. I love you. I love you so much it hurts so please, listen to me. Hmm, y/n?"
But before you could even answer, he already took the vision away from your hand.
He grinned in satisfaction, "This world doesn't deserve to see you."
