Chapter 8

Y/n Pov

I heard a door squeak open the next day in the evening and in came dream. I looked up at him and smiled and he smiled back. "Y/n Why don't we both go patrolling, George and Sapnap are really tired. " He spoke. I nodded "Sure, I really want to get outside of here" I spoke wiggling the chain on my legs. He nodded as he opened them. I stretched as I got up. "Come on let's go but I have to put your cuffs. " He spoke. I nodded as he placed them on my arm. We headed out. "Hey Y/n you haven't told me about your brothers! " he spoke.

I froze in my place. Oh shoot this is the time, I hesitantly nodded. "Are you comfortable about talking about it? " He asked as we laid down on a garden. It was so beautiful but there wasn't a lot of flowers. "Yes, when I was 8 i left my house for further practice in skills and to survive in my own. I wanted to be just like my older brother techoblade. Well you might know who he is right?" I asked smirking. "Ya  he beat me in the fight how can I forget? " He chuckled looking at the stars.

"Yes, so if I am like him theennnnn? " I trailed off. "Oh no not to be defeated twice! " He did the scary face which made me smile. "So, in the 8 years I had some difficulties but I managed, that is why I was happy with the broken bed because I would sleep on stone or dirt everyday. " I spoke a tear shed from my eye,this was a sensitive topic for me. He sat up and pulled me with him. We looked at each other even though I can't see his face but still he had a sad face on.

He hugged me sideways and rested his chin on my head. " I am sorry " he whispered which made me more emotional his soul was so pure how can I hurt him? "No it's fine, I wouldn't have any food for a lot of days, that time that is why I was used to stay hungry for a week. I was really happy the day I came here it has been 10 years since I meet my family, tommy, tubbo,wilbur,philza or dadza and also techno but he is not here."

"So I am the reason you are unhappy and you can't meet your family? " he asked looking down at me, guilty. This was a new expression I unlocked. I never wanted to make him feel this way but my story is the one making him feel this. " Dream, I am not unhappy but I am not happy, I am ok? And I really miss my fam though especially tommy. " I whispered.

"What is the connection between you and Tommy that is so special?" He asked resting his chin on my head again hugging me. " Mine and tommy's relationship goes way back, I remember when he was so small and innocent. I would always plant flowers with him when we were kids. I would make him food as I never wanted him to feel the absence of a mother. " I chucked. "Y/n do you want to go back to lmanburg? " He asked.

"I mean obviously I have missed 10 years of their life I would like to make it up to them but it is of no use arguing when I know that I have to stay here since they want their independence and I would even walk on fire for them. " I spoke as we laid down. "You know what I need you to get ready tomorrow in the morning. "He spoke. I freaked out. Did I  do something wrong? What if he will keep me here for ever! "Wwhhat? Did I do something wrong?" I shuttered. "No silly we are going to lmanburg tomorrow so that you can meet Tommy and everyone." He spoke looking at me for a reaction.

" What? Omg wait what really dream thank you so much you have no idea how much grateful I am! " I spoke as I hugged him. We were in a cuddling position. I felt safe so I decided to sleep here. I mean he can't pull out if I am asleep. He doesn't have the heart to do it.

Dream pov.

I saw y/n fall asleep. This was the best I have been feeling for months. "Goodnight princess" I whispered and kissed her forehead.

Y/N pov.

Step one complete. I have to talk to lmanburg.
