The next morning I get up and put on a grey dress and I go downstairs. My mum puts my hair in a bun. I have some toast and then my parents and I go and catch the train to go to the hub where I will choose my faction.

When we enter the hub there is loads of people in their seats already."Hello what's your name dear."
"Roisin Love." I say. The girl is from Erudite because she is wearing a blue dress and a blue jacket.
"Right Roisin your in the Abnegation side, row F number 13,14 and 15.

We go and sit in our seats and my mum is seated to my right and my dad is on my left. Around ten minutes before it start my mum told me. "I love you no matter what faction you choose."

"Ok quiet down now,"a girl from Erudite says. Her name is Sarah Langan. I know her because she is in charge of Erudite.
"Now children it is your time to choose what faction you belong too. Now please welcome our leader Marcus Eaton." she says.Marcus Eaton is our leader he is from Abnegation.

Marcus walks over to the stage and stands in front of a table with five bowls and a knife.

"Welcome children now you will cut your palm of your hand and put your blood in one of the bowls. Dauntless or Abnegation or Erudite or Candor or Amity." he says. "Now let's not waste much more time and get started."

Names and names and names were called out."James Loge." Marcus said. And the boy next to me standed up and walked down to the stage. He cut is hand and put it over Erudite.

I know I'm next and I see my mum holding me hand tightly. "Roisin Love," Marcus says so I stand up a let go of my mums hand and walk down to the stage.

I don't know what do pick.the test just told me that I am a Divergent. As I walk down the steps towards the stage I think I should do what I am good at and what I will need now that I know I am a Divergent. So I go up on the stage and cut my hand.i see the blood coming down my hand and I place my hand over the bowl with the Dauntless sign on it and Marcus shouts "Dauntless."
