I had a rude awakening as I woke up to my alarm clock ringing in my ears. I hit the top to turn it off and look at the time. "7:40" I should probably head to work I thought to myself as I got up and changed into my business outfit

I brushed my teeth then got into my car and got a call from my best friend, Kassy "hey" she said "h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-hi" I said in a shaky voice. I've had a crush on Kassy since we met in highschool. It was like one of those un-true rom-coms where they fall in love at first sight.
"So..you heading to work? I was just checking to see if you woke up on time and surprisingly, you answered my call." "Well I started using that alarm clock you bought me and it was..definitely alarming to say the least." "Well finally you woke up on time, well I gotta go see ya later!"
She hung up on me and my face was flush red. I love everything about her; her laugh, the way she talks, her eyes when she looks at me, she's just...amazing..
