The door slammed behind him, he could barely see. The Man continued walking Through the building, he could hear footsteps, "Stop" whispered Ghost "They are right above us" he almost thought he saw a foot out move out of a crack in the floor. As they progressed through a hall into a large room, it was too dark to see, "Stay here; Fallen thrive in the dark" Ghost said as he appeared "We won't". Ghost propelled himself to an area the man could not see, "There!" Ghost shouted lights flicked on to reveal two rusted steel tubes, as Ghost returned hundreds of humanoid creatures flooded across the tubes screaming. "Hurry" Ghost exclaimed. The man grabbed a nearby door, swung it open and as he propelled himself forward the floor gave out and he crashed onto the ground. As he got up an assault rifle, battered and bare lay on the ground; as he grabbed it a helmet formed around his head and a heads up display appeared "I will do what I can to help" Ghost said confidently. They did not encounter any more Fallen until they exited the building. A large ship flashed into existence overhead "That's a Skiff, 50 feet long, can teleport, hovers and drops enemy targets, they aren't usually this aggressive, something's wrong here..." Twenty Humanoid figures poured out of the ship, each had four arms, and wore head to toe armor. "There should be a jumpship around here somewhere, kill them and head to that building, I will mark it on your HUD, blueprints say it's a hangar". He held the gun up, it said Kvostov 7g-02 on the side; it looked like it wouldn't fire. He took aim at one of the beasts and shot, it still fired true, perhaps it had been waiting for him. The creatures suit ruptured as the bullet perforated its head, a white gas burst from the hole with a pop; it dropped to the ground. Immediately the remaining Fallen turned to the man and fired. Whisp like blue orbs shot from their guns. The orbs darted in towards him, correcting their trajectory every foot. The man sidestepped the orbs and all except for one went into a wall, the remaining turned and hit him in his back "Gahhh!" He yelled in pain. Injured, the man aimed and at the battalion, fired, and killed all except for one; who ran into the building across the field. "I guess you should follow..." Ghost said uncomfortably, the man ran across the rusted, tank filled scrapyard the Fallen had landed in and entered the building. The rooms were slightly flooded, the only light was from bomb looking items hanging, likely from the Fallen. "The hanger is just ahead; I am getting enemy readings on the radar, be careful" Ghost whispered, the man felt something appear on his side "Thats a grenade, it seems the Traveler knows you exist" said Ghost almost excited. He rushed into the room and saw similar figures as before, tearing apart a small ship hanging on cables. These "Vandals" turned and and raised their weapons, and the man threw the grenade. It exploded and a small vortex pulled them in and crushed their suits. "Lets see if the Trans-Mat is still working" said Ghost as he moved inside the ship with ease. The cables on the ship moved and snapped off as it hovered in the air. "Will it fly?" the man said, "It already is isn't it?" Ghost stated. The concrete wall of the room exploded as a much larger Fallen climbed through the new hole. The man turned to face him and disappeared from the ground, into the ship. "We can come back..." said Ghost as the ship lifted into the air and burst away into the distance...
