"Hello," Mahiro shyly said, bowing his head to the idol in the chair.
"Hello," Chaeyeon replied in the same tone, holding her hair as she bowed. He moved over to the table that was filled with all different kinds of makeup and tried to calm his beating heart.
"I'll be working on your eyeshadow and eyeliner today." He announced to her and the cameras, picking up a small eyeshadow palette and a regular eyeshadow brush. Turning around, he saw her smile grow as they made eye contact for the first time during the episode. "May I hold onto your head?" She nodded in response, bringing her hand up to cover her smile.
He dipped the eyeshadow brush into a shimmering peach shade and swiped it across her eyelids, the back of his hand pressing the powder puff on her face as he focused. Mahiro could feel Chaeyeon trying to look anywhere else but at him, which made him smile. He applied a bit more of the peach shadow before moving onto a shimmering pearl shadow to apply closer to the inner corners of her almond shaped eyes.
"Chaeyeon-ssi!" Heechul said from behind the dividing wall, "this the first time you've had your makeup done by a guy before?"
"Yes," she responded as she looked up at Mahiro. He heard the elder ask how she felt about it, in which she answered with, "Kind of strange," Mahiro paused the application to hear and laugh at what she replied with, "It feels very fresh to me."
