"Changbin?" Kun asked, eyes wide.
"You ran away to... Thailand?" Changbin asked again.
"I didn't run away," Kun exclaimed while crossing his hands over his chest.
"You did though." Changbin also crossed his hands. "You need to admit that."
"What are you doing here?" Kun asked.
"No, What are you doing here?" Changbin snapped.
"I asked you first," Kun said pissed.
They stopped for some moments before Kun spoke. "Hey Binnie, I- I didn't mean to run away like that, I was somehow forced, and don't ask me any further about that. And about your question, I'm working here. Now you, answer."
"I'm not gonna ask you about that any longer, seeing you here was really surprising, And I'm here for a wedding," Changbin said. "And Hyung, thanks for remembering and calling me Binnie."
Kun stood there a bit shook. He didn't realize he called Changbin his nickname only close people call him. Kun was looking everywhere but Changbin's eyes after he pointed that out. Suddenly something inside him wanted to know about HIM. The one and only person Kun had loved, Loves, And always will be loving.
"H-how is Johnny?" Kun asked still not looking at Changbin.
He let out a chuckle before he replied. "You mean Mr. Seo? He is great. He is getting married, and I'm here to attend that."
Kun's heart shattered after knowing that Johnny, the man he loves with the whole heart was getting married to someone else. He was not being able to hold back the heavy feeling he had on his chest. He felt like those words were choking him, his eyes started filling with tears.
"H-Hyung, please don't cry. I was not intending to-" Changbin was stuck at his own word not knowing how to comfort the elder man in front of him.
"Hyung, he is being forced to do this, He still loves you, trust me," Changbin said placing his hand on Kun's shoulder. Kun was always supportive of him. When his dad once locked him up to prevent him from going to some underground battle and banned all his family to free him and he got a really bad panic attack, Kun was the one who forced his family members to open that door, Kun was the one who always encouraged him for everything, His music interest, his love interest, his self dought, everything, Kun was the one who helped him along with johnny, not the person johnny was going to marry. Kun was that ideal big brother.
Kun's head shoots up at Changbin's word. He spoke in super rage. "I was not going to cry, nor I care about his marriage. I had reason to leave everything and I don't want any sympathy from you and your brother." Kun's mind hated his mouth for speaking those words.
He did care about Johnny, in fact, Johnny was the only topic apart from Xiaojun running through his head all these years. He was prepared to find Johnny being married, with a happy family, and all, after what he did to him, he deserved that. But how will Kun see or accept his Son's father getting married to someone else?
His thoughts were all over there. Changbin was clearly awkward. He was never, Changbin was just like Sicheng to Kun. He loved and cared about the boy a lot. as well as Johnny's other family members, Soojin, Mrs. Seo. everyone was Kun's priorities, But he thought the decision he took was for the best.
"Hyung, stop lying, It is breaking me to see you two like-" Changbin was cut off by a sweet voice calling, and a small boy hugging Kun's legs.
"Appa, I missed you." The boy cooed in a cute way to Kun. Kun picked up the boy and smiled at him before kissing his forehead.
"I missed you too Jun.," he said totally forgetting another boy who used to reserve the same kind of affection from him was staring at them.
"So this is the reason?" Changbin said. Kun saw the disappointment in the younger's eyes. But he still forced a small smile and pinched Xiaojun's cheek lightly. " He is cute." He exclaimed when the little boy giggled at Changbin's action.
"Who is this? Appa." Xiaojun asked while looking at Kun. Kun so badly wanted to say who it was but he couldn't bring himself. He stayed quiet, but Changbin replyed to the kid.
"I'm... I'm uncle Changbin. I'm your Appa's brother." Changbin said with a smile. Kun didn't know what to feel.
"Oh, nice to meet you uncle Changbin. I'm Xiaojun." Xiaojun completed his sentence in the formal speech. He was only 5 years and he was struggling to form sentences but Kun had always thought him when to speak in formal ways. Changbin was amazed by the boy. He was really sharp for his age. He smiled at the boy's cuteness while trying to form a proper sentence.
"Bye, Binnie. We're going now." Kun said walking over to his car. He opened the back door and seated Xiaojun safely and put his seat belts, then he came around to get in the driving seat, but he saw Changbin still looking at him. " What?" He asked.
"Hyung...I don't have my card nor my phone with me, will you drop me somewhere?" He asked scratching the back of his neck.
Kun thought for a second and responded. " Yes, get in," Kun said.
~~~
After a quiet ride, Changbin was just staring out of the window. He didn't tell Kun where to drop him. Kun decided to ask him since he wasn't gonna say anyway.
"Binnie, where should I drop you?"
Changbin snapped out from his thoughts at the elders' question. "Umm.. I don't know, Hyung." He said shrugging. "I know it's really weird to even ask, but can I stay in your place Hyung. I really need shelter right now. I won't mind if I have to sleep on the couch. We are staying at a place provided by this groom's family, and they are really annoying. I don't wanna be with them, and my credit cards, all my money, and my phone are with dad." Changbin said looking at his lap. He was ready for the rejection from the elder and he was ready to please more also, but he didn't have to.
"Yes, you can Binnie. Do you have any luggage?" Kun responded eyes still fixed on the road. Kun had never thought Korea's best tec-enterprises future CEO will be begging for a shelter like that. He never wanted his lovely younger brother to do that, all the feelings he was suppressing all these years were kicking back in at that short time span. He really wanted to see Johnny, but he couldn't. For the first time in years, he overcomes his mind's logical decision by listening to his heart's emotional decision.
