12| Polaroids of memories

Changbin was looking for an opportunity to get out of this wedding. He had lost count of how many of his dad's friends asked him when he would stop messing around and start getting into business. They all lectured him about the difference between following a hobby and doing a real job. Jaehyun tried to intervene and save changbin from many conversations but he would end up with another person talking about the same thing.

He just wanted to return to Kun's place and hug Jun tightly. He would be lying if he denied that Kun crossed his mind several times during the day. He was starting to regret meeting Kun. Before he met Kun, he was happy without worrying about Johnny. Changbin was the one who brought the thought of Johnny in Kun's mind back. His train of thought was interrupted by none other than Mr Seo, he was accompanied by one of the suited-up men who talked to him earlier and a first-case female around his age. 

"Mr Cha, this is my youngest son." His father introduced him to the man. He put on a fake smile and greeted him. "And this is Miss Cha Yuhee, Mr Cha's only daughter and upcoming CEO of Ocean Green Corp." Changbin finds it weird that his father was introducing someone's daughter to him. nonetheless, he extended his hands to the lady and greeted her. 

"You are going to work alongside with Yuhee on the upcoming Unvillage project." The man said to which his father was nodding in approval.

"what? What are you saying?" Changbin asked confused. What was his father even plotting this time? He was sure that this was another plan of his father.

"Why are you acting so clueless Changbin? You know that you are going to supervise our construction sector after Johnny's marriage." Mr. Seo stated as his face had that crooked smirk on, Changbin wanted to scream at that msn. He had gotten what he wanted for Johnny and Soojin now he was coming for him. He tried to keep his cool while replying to that man.

"I don't think so, Dad. I'm not going to involve myself in any of your business like John or Soojin. I'm making my own living by doing what I love and that is more than enough for me." Changbin said to his father and his 'friend' as he started to walk away from the conversation.

"Changbin stop." Mr Seo shouted gaining everyone's attention in the room. "I hope you will come to your senses one day and stop playing around." He exclaimed loudly as everyone in the room was looking at him. He felt small under all those eyes tearing onto his skin. "Look at your CEO he is still doing other businesses because he knows that keeping up his family's name is more important than playing around in the entertainment industry." Changbin's eyes fell on Jaehyun who had entered the room probably after noticing the commotion. "He is just doing it to give a platform for his eye candy of a partner-"

"SHUT UP. One more word about Taeyong Hyung and you are dead to me." Changbin's voice echoed off the walls. the room fell into complete silence. He walked past the stunned old man and stopped in front of Jaehyun and Taeyoung. "I'm really sorry." That was the only word he said before he walked out of the room pushing past Johnny and Sehun who entered the room just now. He walked out of the hall ignoring everyone's calls for him. Even Ten had tried to stop him to no avail. He walked out of the building and got on the first taxi he saw.

Johnny heard the shouting and rushed to the lounge area. He saw changbin saying something to Jaehyun as he was walking towards the door. Johnny tried to stop him but changbin ignored him. He turned to Sehun who was asking Taeyong and Jaehyun bout the situation. Taeyong's teary eyes caught his attention in an instant. upon learning about his father's words Johnny didn't waste any minute walking up to the man who was talking to his business buddies as if nothing had happened. "Apologize."

Johnny's stern voice once again made the whispers in the room die down. "what? What are you saying John-" Mr Seo asked chuckling nervously. 

"Apologize to Taeyong and Jaehyun. Now." Johnny's eyes threw daggers at the old man as he nervously looked around. Now he was going to be embarrassed in front of everyone he invited. But he knew that he didn't have any choice.
