A powerful ritual that allows a witch drawing on a source of massive, but anchored power to breach someone's conscious mind. Such a spell can lead to the victim's death under the right circumstances, by destroying the soul while leaving their body, for all intensive purposes, alive, to which would allow for spirit possession.
