Gravity Falls: You Choose!

Introduction

Welcome, welcome, one and all, to this brand new Gravity Falls: You Choose! book.

The premise of this is rather simple: I'm going to give you a bunch of different options of how you want the story to go (such as choosing the main character, plot points, the universe, backstories, character decisions, etc.), and depending on which option/s gets the most votes, I'll then write a chapter up based on what you all chose (whilst also adding my own extra little bits to make it an actual story- and to add a few plot twists and surprises along the way!).

It's going to be somewhat similar to 'choose your own adventure' books, yes, but also different. Because here, you'll get to be directly involved with the story, and you'll get to choose the options in real time rather after the story is made. So, does that sound cool? I mean, I hope it does. I have a feeling it's going to be fun. I don't think I've seen many people do this exact type of thing before; so hopefully it works!

But back to what I was talking about before- the story (I may do multiple if people like them), like I said, is very much in your control. Depending on the outcome of your choices, we could maybe end up with a story that's something super fluffy about Dipper and Mabel going on wholesome adventures together, or maybe a super angsty story about Will Cipher trying to escape the Gleefuls and discover his self-worth, or maybe even a story with a mix of both fluff and angst where we get to see what Ford's experience in the Portal was like!

(As a note, different AUs, as well as different ships (within reason), can be included too! Because as I said, it's all up to you!

Occasionally, I may go back and use other ideas that weren't necessarily chosen for the story, but were still good. So, if there's an idea you really like but it didn't win the vote, just ask me about it, and I'll see what I can do :).)

And I'm sorry to ask, but please, it would be extremely helpful if you could share this with people or even just tag your friends/literally anyone here! Because without enough people, I can't have a proper voting system and then I can't write the story!

Okay, so now we've got that covered, let's (very quickly) get onto the rules. I promise you that they aren't strict, and they're pretty much what you would expect for something like this, but I'm just going to lay them out anyway to prove I gave them- i.e. in the event that anyone tries to suggest something in appropriate.
