How To Vote

This page will tell you how the voting system works. It also doubles as a test run for the system, so it would be extremely helpful if you could all help by interacting and voting for the example option you want.

Here's how it works:

I'll give you a question/scenario, followed by a few options. Here's a random example (imagine this was part of the story- (oh, and see if you can get the little story reference)):

On the table lay three items: the first one, a small glass bottle (labelled "Drink Me") filled with a light blue bubby liquid; the second, a similar-sized glass bottle (labelled "The Solution") filled with a pink, shimmery liquid-like substance; and the third, a small piece of cake decorated with baby blue icing and a few currants, sitting on a plate with the words "Eat Me" beautifully written on a tag attached to it. Dipper paused, running a careful hand over each item before picking only one up.

Which one will he choose?

A) The bottle labelled "Drink Me"

B) The bottle labeled "The Solution"

C) The cake labelled "Eat Me"

To vote for the answer you want, just drag/select/highlight the line and press the little comment symbol next to it. Leave a comment (it can be anything- even a random sentence, or just an "I vote this one" or a ":D") on it and then I can check the number of comments on each line to see which one got the most votes.

If, by chance, your Wattpad app doesn't allow that, then just click the comment button at the bottom (the one that comes up when you tap the page) and I'll have left a comment for each of the options. Just leave a reply under the comment labelled withthe option you want (e.g. there'll be a comment that says "reply here for option A"/"reply here for Dipper to pick up the bottle labelled "Drink Me" and you just need to leave a comment reply).

I hope that wasn't too confusing to understand, but if it was, then just ask and I can explain it further.

This was the "easiest"/most convenient voting system I could come up with on here. If I had done it the "normal" way, where I made a new chapter for each option for you to vote on, then you'd probably end up getting a load of ads inbetween and... I don't wanna have to make you wonderful peeps sit through 20 ads just to give one vote. So, this method is the one I'm trying first. If it doesn't work, then I'll just have to find some other way to do it, like maybe leaving a link to a quiz with all the options. Hopefully, though, it all works out fine and I shouldn't need to do that anyway.
