-----------------------------------
Eda Yildiz's life was full of crowds and noise; but that's normal given that she was a trauma surgeon. She was very passionate about her job, choosing it as a career after she lost both of her parents in a car accident; she vowed to do her best to make sure everyone got the life-saving treatment they deserved.
Probably, due to that vow, she finds herself in this situation at this moment; with her hands tied behind her on an uncomfortable chair in a cold, damp, poorly lit room. While her captors didn't indulge too much in hitting her, one of them did slap her hard when she screamed at him to let her go and the other kicked her into the room; she was pretty sure she broke a couple of ribs. As a punishment, they stripped her down to her underwear until the boss would come see her; she felt exposed and cold, her resolve finally weakening. She's been waiting for too long, it could've been hours or days, she wouldn't know; the hypothermia getting to her alertness.
She jerked awake at the sound of the heavy door opening, and the voices of her captors coming in along with a new yet somehow familiar voice. He came into the room, and her eyes almost bugged out of their sockets, this same man cornered her in the hospital a couple of months ago, under the pretence of 'saving her life'. She was going to start screaming at him again, not caring that she was almost naked and weak; but he shocked her by conveying his anger first. He was livid.
"What the fuck is wrong with you two? Kidnapping a woman is one thing, stripping her down to her underwear is something else entirely! Are you animals? Do you have no regard for her as a person? My god you disgust me," He screamed alright, but not at her, at her captors.
In a parallel universe, where Eda wasn't the victim, she would've snickered at the faces these men pulled; it was as if their teacher was telling them off.
He took them out of the room, if you could call it that, and Eda's heart was drumming loudly against her chest, in fear. What is he going to do now? She wasn't going to be fooled by his monologue; for all she knows maybe he was doing it to get her alone.
He quietly went behind the chair where she was tied trying his best not to allow his eyes to stray, took off the ties, and shrugged off the jacket he was wearing and gave it to her; she wore it without arguing instantly warmed and surrounded by his woodsy scent.
"Sorry," he said gruffly, "these idiots went too far."
It almost sounded like he was apologetic thought Eda, but she wouldn't be fooled.
"So you're the boss, kahramanım?" She said in the same sarcastic tone; one corner of his mouth lifted slightly, as if in a smile; and Eda's heart almost skipped a beat. What the hell? What kind of quick stockholm syndrome is that?
"No actually I'm not, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention our incident to the boss when he comes in, as I was trying to protect you that day from him," he said in a warning tone.
"Sit down so I can tie your hands again," he said back in his gruff voice.
She raised one eye brow in question at the command he used, and he let out an exasperated sigh, "listen, me being a human doesn't take away from the fact that you're kidnapped and I'm your captor, so if you're waiting for manners, we passed that stage a couple of ropes ago."
She sat down, deciding to conserve her energy to argue with the boss whoever he is. "Can I at least know why I'm here?"
"You don't know?" He asked shocked.
