Moonlit dances. Drunk on love.
She smiles at him with purity only expressed through a moment of reprieve. Of abandonment of self.
He felt like a fire lit up inside him. Her smile encased him in the heat of the moment. Binging on the love. barefoot on concrete. Bodies sway together. A night of freedom, her eyes like the fountain of youth.
Met today. Gone by tomorrow.
If only she knew, he longed for her return. No matter the imperfections that hold her back, he would love her completely.

Background: How I saw the characters as I wrote.
Character #1 vibes:
Gentle touching. Soft voice. Shy. Lives in his head. Broken heart. Man with short curly hair, and long fingers. Littered notebooks with scribbles. Easy to love fast. Falling in love with strangers. Long pauses. Stares. Hides in his room for 8 hours a day.
Character #2 vibes:
Can't Commit. Loves fiercely for a day and runs away. Showers lovers with love and attention and ghosts leaving them dazed and addicted. Dancing under stars. Gives everything to make the other happy. Mood swings. Self-doubt. Runs away. Binges love. Makes you feel so special. Gives all. Long blonde hair, and always barefoot. wide smile with a crooked tooth.
Relationship vibes:
Character 1 pleading for communication. Promises of the long term. Hand holding, quiet looks of approval, and that it's ok. Slow dancing in the kitchen. I know you're not perfect. You don't have to be. I love your soul. Imperfection accepted.
