The rest of the week was uneventful. I helped my grandfather with a crossword puzzle, nailed several large planks to the hole in the roof, stretched my wings about 300 feet up, and pondered about what the prophecy really meant.

I didn't see rainbow that week either. So I decided to ask father if she'd seen her. (Father works as a horseshoe salesman so I thought he might have bumped into her.)

"I haven't seen another Pegasus besides you for two weeks. Why do you ask?"

"Oh no reason." I lied.

My dad then gave me a look that gave that he knew why I asked and said " well il tell you ifi see her. And then he left for work.
