Yuta stared down at Inumaki's last message frowning at the thought of his friend being in pain from this person who Inumaki cared so deeply about,

18:42

Toge : I've already met them, but they will never love me back.

He thought how could someone not love Inumaki, sure he might not be able to verbally express himself, but he was kind, and a fun person to be around, he was a prankster, but he made almost everyone smile. He quickly typed out,

18:45

Yuta : I'm sure that's not true :(  If they don't love you, then they obviously can't see how kind you are. But if they haven't given you a straight answer then don't lose hope, I'm sure they'll see how amazing you are :)

Inumaki heard his phone buzz from across the room, reluctantly he got up only to be met with Yuta's message, as more tears started welling up he wondered if that was really true, would Yuta really ever he him as something more than just a friend. Shutting off his phone, he hugged his pillow asking himself why Yuta has to be so caring, why he had just gone and fallen for his best friend, and most of all why everything had to be so complicated. Quietly sighing as he got up having enough of crying, he walked out of his room leaving the dorms.

As he left the dorms he made sure to close the doors as quietly as possible, wanting no one to follow him. He quickly climbed on top of the roof gazing up at the sky, it was always one of his favorite places to be it gave him a quiet place to think, as he gazed up at the sky it was becoming a colorful mixture of pinks, oranges, blue, and purple. Letting himself get lost in his thoughts of how it was for the best that he pushed his feelings for Yuta aside, that maybe he wasn't good enough to be by his side, maybe he just wasn't "pretty" enough, or maybe just not strong enough. But most of all he deeply wished he could express himself with words as easily as others could, many took that ability for granted.

He finally snapped out his thoughts as a chill went up his spine, the sky was now a beautiful shade of blues, black, purple, and pinks. Small stars scattered across the sky, at that moment wishing to be one of those hundreds of stars he got off the roof and made his way back to the comfort of his dorm.
