Damon's POV

"If you hit her again, I'll break your arms and legs, and watch you struggle through the healing process. Got it?" I said sternly.

Jacob throws his hands in the air.

"Yeah, no hitting, got it." He replies.

"Fucking dick."  I thought.

I made my way out of the seller and headed for Lords office. You would think I respect this piece of shit but I don't. Everything he does is to clap back at David. I read the stories and lived through the last seven hundred years of it. I never wanted to be apart of his games. Who kidnaps and brand new werewolf, then again who puts a spell on her to hid her true self. I don't know but what I do know is wolves are not all bad. Lord is selfish and chooses revenge instead of moving on and damn anyone who gets in his way.

I opened his doors with just enough force to hit the walls.

"You called for me pops." I said.

Lord turns around in his chair at his desk and rolled his eyes.

"I'll be sure to knock next time." I said sarcastically.

"Watch your tone boy" He says sternly.

"You need something?" I continued.

"Yes, we have new fledglings that need training." While sitting back in his chair.

"Arn't you the all powerful leader of the vampires? Why don't you go out and do it." I rudely said while crossing my arms.

"Because I want to pay a visit to out new friend. She's quite unique, a werewolf that hasn't turned and lives a life with humans. Unknown to what she is.. It's just fascinating." He says with an evil grin on his face.

"This can happen more then we think dad. Who wouldn't want a better life for their kids."

"Is this one of those times where your telling me I'm being a bad father?" He said with a sarcastically concerned tone.

"Nah, we both know your a terrible donor." I rolled my eyes and headed for the door.

"Shut my doors on the way out." He yelled.

"Right away you highness." I said while walking though the doors.

After leaving his door wide open I made my way out to the court yard. We live in a huge old Victorian house way out in the country on neutral territory. This place would be nice, if only it didn't hold so much death. My father is insane and hell bent on bringing David down. I never asked for this life, I'm I'm just stuck in it.

Rhylee's POV

"You got to be kidding me if you think for a moment I trust you.... even if you my father." I yelled him.

There is no denying that our eyes are the same and with how my life has been turned upside down. I believe this man is my father and I don't even know his name or what he even is.

"Rhylee you have no idea why we did what we did." He says while crossing his arms.

"Let me guess by "we" as in my mother and father right?" I pushed.

"Yes." He answered.

"What kind of monster abandons their newborn child? Both of you chose to leave a baby behind and allowed her to feel empty inside. I never felt whole..." I choked.
