Hello reader, my name is Aj. I use she/her/hers pronouns and I'm the author A New-sie Beginning. I'm 16 (I'm actually 17 almost 18 now). I just don't feel like having to change my age every time so it's just going to stay at 16. If you get confused on how old I am, check my bio. I will continue to update that each year. I live in Dallas, Texas. I'm in high school and enjoy theatre, digital art, art, reading, singing, and being around animals. I am the Vice President of ITS (International Thespian Society) at my school and I'm the editor for my school yearbook. I have two other books on here, Dark Thoughts and Finally Belong. Finally Belong is a short story I wrote for an assignment at school and then published here. It is complete. My other book, Dark Thoughts, is a book that I have been working on for many years now. (I'm still working on it) I hope to publish it one day. PLEASE READ THEM!😁 I own all the rights to Dark Thoughts, the characters and storyline are all completely original. Before we begin, just so that it's not confusing, the first few chapters will either be Jack's POV or Katherine's POV. However, once Tex comes in, the majority of the story will be in her POV. The only character in this story that I own is Tex.  I don't know yet if this will be a series (it probably will be) so make sure that if you like the story to comment. I am always looking for ways to improve my writing and am always open to constructive criticism. I am working really hard on this story and really hope you enjoy it. I'm still writing Dark Thoughts at the same time so updates may be slow. Please be patient with me.  One more small detail, ever since Jack and Katherine started dating Pulitzer and Jack have come to respect one another. There won't be any smut on this story. I'M SORRY! I enjoy reading it 😏😏😏(at times), I just have no idea how to write. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this story. Welcome to A New-sie Begginig!

All of the Newsies including Katherine are based on the filmed Broadway production of Newsies. So Jack is Jeremy Jordan, Katherine is Kara Lindsay, Crutchie is Andrew Kennan-Bolger, Race is Ben Cook, etc.  However, Davey's sister, Sarah from the movie will be in the story and is an editor friend of Katherine's.
