It was a wet and gloomy Thursday afternoon. I was in my bright but depressing room. I was just laying down like I was a hot dog on a grill. I looked pale and I didn't want to move. But when I heard the notification sound on my phone, I jumped. Someone texted me.

It was probably one of my best friends Jill, Josh, Amy, April, and my personal favorite, Mya that texted me. But when I looked at my dimmed screen, I saw a text from a girl named Angel. I looked at it weird since I don't know anyone named Angel. Then my sister burst into my room and stomped to me. She looked at me then took my phone like it was hers. I got so mad at her and yelled at her, "What are you doing with my phone dude?!" She turned around so fast and so hard, I think I heard a crack in her back. "Who do you think you are talking to me like that?! I ain't yo 'dude'. Watch yo tone when you talk to me." And yes, that girl is my sister, Jamie. She's the worst. She acts so grown up around me but she's so irresponsible. She's 14 and I'm 16. She acts like it's the other way around. "Can I please have my phone back," I begged. "No! I'm going to text my friend! So leave me alone!" She was so loud, my dad, who's in the army, probably heard her. So now I'm left alone with nothing. But my dog, Skipper, wanted to go for a walk. "HALLELUJAH! IT'S A MIRACLE!" I finally had something to do with my time.

So I got Skipper and went outside. It actually felt pretty good outside. The sun started to come up and there was a gentle breeze hitting me. I felt like it was heaven. But while I was walking Skipper, I heard a banging noise in the back of my house. I thought it was a raccoon but I was terribly wrong. Cause when I looked to my left, I saw a stranger in my dad's car! I yelled at him. "Who are you and why do you have that car?!" The man replied in a deep creepy voice, "Your worst nightmare." Then when he was driving away he yelled, "And, well, cause I want to!" I looked at the man with disgust. Then without hesitation, I started to run after him.
