You sat there in the bathroom, back against the edge of the bathtub as you sobbed your eyes out. Your apartment was dark, the only light source came from the lit cashmere scented candle on the bathroom counter.

Your sobs at first softly echoed throughout the bathroom but gradually made its way all throughout the apartment. The apartment watched as you cried and couldn't help but cry itself. Watching you break apart like that made the warm atmosphere turn cold.

The faucet that dripped one tiny little drop of water was the way the apartment shed it's tears. However, the faucet was estinto and made its presence unknown. You sat there, curled up in your little ball as you tried your best to calm down. The little wall you built brick by brick around your emotions got smashed by a wrecking ball.

You couldn't help laughing at your pain and how pathetic this was. You didn't belong in this world, it all felt pointless. You hated feeling this way and never knew how to fix it. You were like a porcelain vase that got smashed on the ground and quickly glued back together. Even though it appeared fixed and was now in its original form, you could still see the cracks, it would never be completely back to normal

. You only let this side of you out when you were alone because if someone saw you like this it would break you even more. You hated feeling vulnerable and hated being dependent on others. That's just the way you were and you hated yourself for it.

Every time you had gazed into the mirror, you hated what you saw. It made you feel sick to your stomach, which is why the mirror in your room sat on the floor completely smashed, shards of glass everywhere on your floor. Your mind was flooded with chaos and it felt like you couldn't breathe, you sat there gasping for air.

You couldn't hear when he walked into your apartment, calling out your name. "Y/n?" He called out, he had been worried due to you not answering your phone for the past few hours. The energy he felt throughout the apartment was terrifying and sent chills down his spine.

He crept around opening doors and peaking in, trying to find you. When he finally got to your bedroom door he could hear the little sobs. Some of his worry went away, knowing that you were safe here in your apartment.

However, that worry that had left quickly got replaced when he realized you were crying. He opened the door and noticed the shards of glass everywhere. He slowly walked around it, his intuition leading him to your bathroom. The door was cracked open and the only thing he could see was the candle before he pushed it fully open.

It was hard to see at first, but his eyes slowly fixated on you as you sat on the floor with your head into your knees crying. "Y/n?" He repeated once more as you looked up at him. The sight of someone seeing you like this made you start to cry even more. "Hey, woah, what's going on?" He said as he quickly made his way over to you and sat down in front of you.

He noticed the hair tie on the floor and picked it up, grabbing all the hair that was in your face and putting it up in a quick ponytail so he could see you more. His heart fell down to the floor seeing you a mess like this. He pulled you close to him and you quickly attached on to him.

He smelled like warm vanilla and roses, the scent starting to calm you down. He ran his fingers through your hair as the both of you just sat in silence. He wouldn't force you to talk, he understood that when you were ready you would tell him.

For now, he would just do his best to be there with you. Even if in the moment you fell asleep, he would sit there with you until the morning. Making sure you were okay before he even dared to leave.

After a while, you let him go and sat up. He lightly stroked your cheek with his knuckle and smiled at you. "Tell me what's wrong dear" he said to you as you sat with your head down. "I hate myself." You whispered as his eyes widened.

His thoughts immediately went to himself. Did he not make you feel worthy or loved enough? "I fucking hate myself" you said once again, your voice cracking in the middle of your sentence.

Your hands balled up in fist, you started getting angry at yourself once again. Flashbacks from earlier coming back to how you smashed the mirror. He snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at your fist. He grabbed your hands and held them. Slowly draining the anger out of your body just by his touch. "Look at me." He said looking at you while your head was down.

You didn't look up and he took his hand bringing it up to your chin and lifting your head up to look at him. "You are the most extraordinary girl I've ever met. I don't know who or what could've put these thoughts into your head but they need to stop." He said as he sighed and smiled once more before kissing you.

With just one kiss, your body felt like it started to heal. As if he was sucking poison out of of your body and spitting it out. "I don't care how many times I have to say it, or even if I have to kiss all the parts of yourself that you hate.

I'll do it until you find peace with yourself and understand that I love you along with so many other people because you're amazing." He said with his forehead against yours. You both were looking into each other's eyes. The only thing you could see into his was love and compassion.

He called you extraordinary yet, he was that himself. He had the power of healing and he had a way with his words that could make anyone feel loved. His touch felt so warm and his presence could calm anyone. Which is why you felt as if you didn't deserve him.

Deep down your presence was so cold and so fragile while his was warm. Fire shouldn't be with ice, or at least that's what you thought.

Yet, he didn't see it like this. Fire melts ice, it breaks it down from its icy cold form into a liquid and heats it up. Which is why he believed staying with you was the right thing, because not only did he love you but he believed that he had the power to heal what you couldn't heal yourself.
