"Move out of the way, idiot." Riley hissed at James as she tried to push through the busy hallways.
"Make me, sweetheart." James replied, crossing his arms and planting a smirk on his face.
They had an odd relationship. Despite James's coming off as flirting, he despised her just as much as he despised him, he just showed it different. While Riley would flat out state her hatred in snippy remarks and insults, James found it more satisfying to tease, mock, and annoy her. To watch her face grow into an utterly annoyed look of disgust and hate. Everyone was aware of their hate towards each other, but nobody knew why. And quite frankly, they didn't know why either. It was just the way it was.
"Do you want me to be late for class?" Riley sighed angrily, crossing her arms as well.
"Well since it puts a damper on your day, so yeah." James replied, his smirk turning into a glare.
"Just move!" She hissed. By now the hallways were cleared and the second bell had rung, but James was still blocking her path.
"No!" James snapped back.
Thrn there was a distinctive sound of a cleared throat. The bickering teens turned slightly to be faced with the vice principal.
"Office. Now." She ordered. The two send each other a glare before following the women up to the school office.

"Great, just great." Riley muttered, glaring at the detention slip in her hands.
"Relax, I got one two." James commented, holding up a detention slip as well.
"Yeah, and who's fault is that?" She growled.
"You know what-"
"What?" She snaps.
"With an attitude like that, no wonder you don't have a boyfriend!" He seethed.
"Well I don't see a girl on your arm either!" She snapped back. They glared hard at each other before finally taking their separate ways.
