In the two years you've been gone I've thought a lot about the moments we shared, they are some of the only things I have left of you. Well, besides that flannel you gave me when we first properly met. That is one of my favorite memories of us.
It was after the homecoming football game, senior year. I was waiting for my ride; the one that never came. I waited an hour, nobody came, there was only a few kids left on the football field. You luke, were one of them. It started to rain and I had no other option but to walk home. To make it worse it was raining, dark, and I was alone. My house was only about five blocks away, it wouldn't be too bad. Except for the fact I was totally paranoid about every little noise I heard.
I started to make my way off of the school grounds when I heard somebody call my name,
"Annebelle!"
I didn't recognize your voice so I didn't bother to even turn around, until you came running after me. I turned around and a realized who it was, Luke, the kid from my trig class who always had earbuds in his ears. You introduced yourself, Luke Hemmings, but I already knew your name. You offered me your flannel to try and keep somewhat dry and offered to walk me home. I accepted. We made small talk on the way home and it was comforting. I barely knew you, but you were so sweet.AN:
