01. Begin

Gangnam, The richest and the most affluent neighborhood in Seoul where the top businesses and establishments were located with most of the rich businessmen and mafia families since the first half of the 1900s living there. There was not a day where lights were completely shut but today was an exception

The whole neighborhood was filled with nothing but darkness a sight that hasn't been witnessed by anyone after South Korea getting electricity

Among all the wealthy looking houses in the middle of everything there located the mansion of Gyeonggi-do, the most populous province in Korea's most feared mafia boss Kim Seokjin. By owning more than half of the buildings in Incheon and Seoul his power couldn't be compared to anyone around him. Society, even the politicians feared him. Along with his 8 other best friends since high school.

It wasn't a secret that their gang literally ruled the country. No one could ever stop them. No one even dared to do so knowing what the outcome would be like, either murdered in their sleep or to say the worst kidnapped by Asia's most feared mafia gang and then tortured by them if lucky enough their body would be found in a nearby lake or under a bridge

- Third Person's POV-

With a huge backyard and a garden, Kim seokjin's house was an ideal place for a criminal to hide only if it wasn't surrounded by his men from every 3 meters. There was no way anyone could escape or even think about coming there and hiding in the first place. With high-security systems, no one could even step a foot there without getting noticed by his men.

Tonight was different from every other night. His men were rushing around the mansion and in the huge garden as if a danger was near. It was all because of the power cut in the area. Sure they had a suspicion about it because no one living in the area has experienced this in near future.

"What is happening today? Boss isn't home today and suddenly there's a power cut. Is the rival gang going to attack them or what? " said one of the newest guards who was hired for the main entrance gate not a few days ago

"Shut up! if something happens you'll be a suspect as well this place isn't a good place to say those things. " the other guard who was there said while looking around with fear in his eyes "Rumors were going around that a rogues gang who attacked ma'am in the hospital was escaped and coming back again " he whispered quietly

-Inside the mansion-

"Emma please don't make any noises and stay where I told you to go okay? If I don't get caught I'll meet you at the 2nd gate in the south garden but if I didn't come you can go outside and don't think about me that much I'll be fine. Got it? " Young woman in her mid-20s said to her middle-aged maid while packing some of her belongings while the woman named Emma nodding while taking the bad from her

Both of them quietly got out of the room trying their best to not to make any sound and parted ways from each other while the maid was going for the exist the other woman was going into the room near her large room

She went inside calmly not making any sounds. With the moonlight coming through the windows even without the lights on everything was visible. She bent down in front of the crib and picked up one of the kids who were placed in there.

"I'm sorry baby I can't take two of you if only I could I would've done that hope you grow up without being like him" she whispered quietly carefully trying not to wake the kids up and kissed the forehead of the remaining one before heading out whipping her tears which seems to not to stop anytime soon.

Before she could go anywhere else one of seokjin's men was standing in front of the nursery room. She froze in the spot and gulped.

"Ma'am, is everything okay? I heard sounds near here " the man asked worriedly but she was quick to shut him up

"No no it's just that I was going to check on them and found this little one awake I'm going to feed her you can go now I'll ask if I need anything"

After she said that the guard nodded his head and went to check on other parts of the mansion. She held the child close to her and after almost getting caught she successfully sneaked out to the exit in the garden where she promised her maid that she'd come.

"Emma let's go we don't have much time "

Both of them nodded and ran away from the house with the old car that was parked near the area.

-Kim Enterprises's main meeting room in Seoul-

There was a huge business meeting held at that time with businessmen around the world. Seokjin's phone rang and he signaled his secretary to answer the phone for him and focused his attention on the meeting again but was confused when he saw how his secretary's face went pale as if he saw a ghost while answering the phone.

"S-sir... I think we got a problem" his secretary said while trembling

"Go ahead what happened?" he calmly asked

"Ma'am ran away with your child-" he couldn't get to finish the sentence seokjin slammed his fits into the table flinching everyone in the room. If looks could kill all of the people there would've died on the spot. He was furious and his eyes were bloodshot.

"That's enough you're dismissed I don't care how important this is "

"But sir-" an employee tried to speak up but was quickly shut by Mr.Kim

"Did I ask? This is over don't make me tell it twice " he said glaring at him and signaled his men to take his stuff and rushed towards his car.

"I don't care what it takes but you're only getting 2 hours freaking 2 hours find my wife and child alive or else all of your family is going to suffer. If there's at least one scar in anyone of their body you'll pay with your limbs "
Mr.Kim said to his main guard while getting into his car dialing some numbers.
