08. Confusion

"SHE'S MY WHAT ?!" Junkyu's voice rang through the whole house and he dropped his gun he was holding aiming towards Dawon.

A faint whisper was heard behind him from Doyoung. The kid wasn't the one to be emotional most of the time. But this time it sure has shocked him. The other members also gasped at that. There was silence for about 3 minutes and broke by Andy.

"Bro how the fuck that's possible ? Dawon? Daughter of Seokjin? Me is confused someone enlighten me please "

"Before that what are you guys doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in school? " Dawon asked trying to figure out what happened to them.

"Oh well we were in the playground when the school ended before going to detention and these idiots came and dragged us with them threatening to show where you were " Boram said rolling her eyes.

"Oh now I understand and Mr. Park Jihoon I must say the security of your gang is extremely weak and taking a week to find some spies? You guys call yourself heirs of the Asia's most powerful mafia gang huh? I thought Kim Seokjin would do a better job with that but I guess not " Dawon looked at Jihoon with a smug smile.

"What's going on between you two? " Seokjin asked from the two of them.

"Well sir they were the one who stole that pen drive which had all the iKON members information. Now thanks to them we lost it " Jihoon scoffed trying hard to not to show that he was annoyed.

"You're working for BH? " Seokjin asked Dawon softening the look in his eyes. And that didn't go unnoticed by her siblings. They never seen their dad speaking with a such a soft tone along with a look which made them sad.

"Why would I tell you about that? " Dawon asked scoffing and looking away.

"Kim Dawon " even though she could be the most stubborn girl if she wanted she had that soft spot for her guardian, Hanbin's one word was enough to make her mumble a small apology. That made seokjin sad. Her own daughter behaving in front of him like they were strangers and being considerate towards another person made him slightly sad.

"I'm still confused about the whole thing can we like sit down and talk? I feel like I've went through a rollercoaster " Andy said speaking for the first time releasing her hand from Haruto's grip who was holding her for the whole time forgetting to let go.

"Well I guess we should. Ella can you make something for all of us? " Hanbin asked and Ella went to bring something to eat while others sat down.

"Well you know how Mina tried to escape that day with Dawon and Ella? She planned that after the attack she got a day before her delivery of the twins. She sure did loved you a lot I mean a lot and never wanted to leave you but that incident made her hesitant. She almost lost her life and both kids that day because of iKON members " Hanbin said sighing whike remembering the memories of his best friend.

"And after that she wanted to run away we met 2 months after her delivery and she said that to me. She said she wanted her kids to grow up as normal kids not fearing who would kidnap you in the next second. But I explained her it wouldn't be easy to bring three kids with her. So as a mother she made a quite tough decision to bring one kid with her and running away so at least one of them could grow up with a normal childhood " he further explained calmly.

"And yeah that night as we planned everything happened or that's what we thought" Hanbin sighed looking down at his feet.

"How did Aunt Ella and Dawon survived then? " Sara asked who knew some of these things about Dawon's past but not quite sure.

"It was Mina's idea she told us she'd travel to Australia alone and if Jin caught her she wouldn't say anything about Dawon and Ella and asked me to take care of both of them. After Rosè's death I also decided to go to Yang Hyunsuk since he was asking me to come and work with him" Hanbin explained.

"And what happened that night? " Seokjin who was close to tear up remembering his late wife's last moments with him asked quietly.

"I met Ella with dawon next morning in busan and we came to New York without knowing anything. We thought she'll comeback but after two days we got to know that she was murdered by iKON members " Hanbin quickly wiped his tears which gathered up in the corner of his eyes. The atmosphere of the room was gloomy. Junkyu who was sobbing quietly and Doyoung who had tears in his eyes same as his dad who were known to be someone who never cried.

"It's all your fault " Dawon broke down after saying that to Seokjin.

"Dawon don't get your emotions get you and don't talk to him like that he's your dad " Hanbin said giving her a warning.

"No I won't stop if he could've made her feel safe around him she wouldn't dare to leave right? Mom loved him so much so why would she left him? And even he could've saved her at least. Because of this person right there I lost my mom it's all your fault you killed her " Dawon's voice cracked as she broke down in front of everyone.

"Dawon! Sara take her to her room " Hanbin raised his voice and told her daughter to take Dawon with her. Before they could walk away another voice spoke.

"You think only you lost her? I lost both of them! At least you had Ella and uncle Hanbin but what about us? We never had a mom or someone to give the love wanted dad never even dared to look at us if it wasn't for our training and yet me and my brother both of us never got complimented by him " Doyoung shouted in the verge of crying.

"And you know what I've never seen dad speaking in such a soft tone or looking at someone with a such a soft look in his eyes. He just met you and you're already his favorite even after you said those things he just tried to call you. You think you lost your mom? Well then guess what that was our mom too. We suffered as much as you did without someone to catch us when we fall without the love from both of them parents we still grew up. He never came to visit me or brother when we got injured almost lost our lives this hurriedly but when he got to know not you but Ella was alive he came here in few hours trying to get any information "

Doyoung let out all the pain he held throughout the years. Sure him and junkyu had everything they wanted while growing up but without the most important thing. Love from the parents. But they never complained bit tired hard to get at least one compliment from their dad.

When he announced Jihoon and Hyunsuk are going to be the leaders they didn't utter a word. Even though Junkyu was the original heir seokjin named Jihoon as the leader saying his leadership would be better for the team. Junkyu smiled accepted it wholeheartedly since it was his father's decision.

" I hate you I hate how you were always on dad's dreams even after he realized you were dead but we were invisible to him all the time. I envy you so much " Doyoung said looking into her eyes.

"I wish you would've just died that day " he said making seokjin get up from his seat and making his slap Doyoung. The people around him stopped seokjin from doing anything else and helped Doyoung who fell down due the elder one's strength. His lips were bleeding a lot.

"See he'd kill his own sons for you " Doyoung said smiling from the corner of his lips looking at the terrified state of Dawon who tried to catch what was going on. Her mind went blank and the last thing she heard was Sara yelling her name.
