...Moon...

The Resolve and a tranchillion battleport made their final approach towards Sentry One. The battleport followed the exact same line as the Resolve, as they curved their approach, heading for a ring of lights hanging as if in mid-air.

The Resolve flew straight through the ring and down a well-lit tunnel, eventually ending up in a docking bay. The battleport followed it in and settled next to the Resolve. Any deviation from the set path would have resulted in instant death for the crew as the starship would have crashed into the invisible force-field.

Lisa walked down the ramp followed by Neil, Rebecca and her assigned medic. Neil reached out to steady Lisa when she wobbled; almost falling over.

"Will you stop fussing over me," said Lisa.

"I thought you were going over, Lisa. Those drugs sure have knocked you about," said Neil.

"Look, I'm thirty-five years old now. I think I can manage to walk on my own."

"You should let him help you, Mrs Lyderattle. You should really be in a wheelchair," said the medic.

"Can't you get me another one, Neil – he's pushy," said Lisa.

"Come on, Lisa. Let's just get you to the medical bay and see if they can sort you out," Neil turned to Rebecca. "I'll meet you at my quarters after I've settled Lisa."

"All right. What's your pass-code?" asked Rebecca.

"Read my mind," said Neil, reluctant to say it out loud.

"Got it," said Rebecca. "Get well soon, Lisa."

Lisa waved her hand towards Rebecca and watched her walk off with Neil's daughter following behind in her Moses basket.

"Do you trust her?" asked Lisa.

"What. Who?"

"Rebecca of course."

"Yes, I do. She's brilliant with Tanya."

"She wants to get inside your pants."

"I know. But she won't until I'm ready."

Lisa raised her eyebrows. "So, you're thinking about her as girlfriend material are you."

"Potentially, yes," Neil saw the look on Lisa's face. "There's nothing wrong with that, is there?"

"Chloe's not even buried yet, Neil."

"I've not slept with her, Lisa. If something happens between us, then it happens. Chloe wouldn't want me to be lonely forever you know."

"I just think it's wrong."

"You're acting as though I've fucked her," Neil noticed the doubt on Lisa's face. "I haven't. I swear."

"Just keep your dick in your pants and make sure she's not a rebound. Neither Rebecca or Chloe need or would want that."

"You're my friend not my mother. Bloody hell girl."
