20~Tribute And Comeback

Roshni walked inside Aman's house and got emotional seeing his house. She could see her past moments in that house. She walked further to kitchen and looked everywhere and that place too made her feel nostalgic. Then she went to his room and there she could no more control her tears, as after his death, this was the second time she had come there. Before when she came the first time after his death, she saw his bruised and battered body laid there on the bed, with hands stretched and legs broken. Now when she had come, it broke her heart once again into million pieces that he was gone forever and that there was no way she could call him back. She looked at the pearl bracelet in her hand and took if off placing it close to her heart.

She wore it back and then walked towards his bed and touched it, she picked his pillow and sniffed over it and hugged it.

She lied on his bed on her back.

She sat up and looked down and her gaze gradually went to his photograph on the bedside table, she picked it and hugged it.

R: Aman, I am not unhappy haan, dekho tum upar se dekh rahay ho toh tum bura mat maan'na mere aansu dekh kar, main tumhari khushi mein khush hoon, sachi.

She walked to his cupboard and opened it and saw his guitar inside.

R: how can I forget? He loved to play guitar, he even taught me how to play guitar, I didn't let them burn some of his things by hiding them, I couldn't have let them steal his every memory from me.

She picked his guitar feeling her old connection with it and smiled. Then her gaze went on the paper fallen on the floor, she placed the guitar inside and knelt down and picked the paper and unfolded it only to find a song written by Aman which was meant for both of them to sing together as he had mentioned his own name before some stanzas and her name as well. She smiled and then remembered something.

R: Aman said he has a surprise in his phone for me.

Then she began to look for his phone everywhere and found it in his drawer. The phone wasn't in a good condition, it was broken.

Flashback:
Before murdering Aman, when he was getting beaten up, his phone fell from his pocket and got cracked as it came under their feet which went unnoticed by everyone only to be noticed later by Aman's soul who painfully picked it up and put it back in the drawer waiting for Roshni to come and take him out of there and one day finally she took him out when she came to pick Buddy.

She switched it on and searched through everything she thought could've hidden her surprise, from gallery to recordings, and finally she found a recording which was a song sung by Aman, it was the same song of which she found lyrics, her lines were missing.
