"D-do you have something to tell me... Sir?"

"Let's talk."

Lee Rang motioned the latter to follow his lead to the living room where they can face each other and discuss - as if nothing awkward occurred before. No matter how embarrassed he felt due to the small incident earlier, he kept it all inside and tried to act normally.

Good thing that he is a quick-witted person.

"I think we have a deal to be made. Well, now that you involved yourself in my affair - you should be aware of what might happen in the future."

Karina braces herself as she listened carefully to what the man on the opposite side is saying in a stern manner. She even cleared her throat before responding to him.

"Yes I do, sir. By that means, I'll try to do anything according to your will."

"It's not a choice. You MUST."

She bit her inner lip as she bowed down her head to apologize.

"Forgive me, sir. I will do my best."

On the other hand, the corner of Lee Rang's mouth turned up in a small smile as he witnessed himself the nervousness of the young lady very clearly - not even trying to hide it.

This is starting to get fun.

"Good. Now, let me ask you something. Is bartending the only work you can do?"

"About that, I already did some thinking. I can be your full-time helper, sir! I mean I can clean the house or any chores, cook and even make drinks for you so you don't need to hire no one else anymore."

The fast answer from Karina got him a bit surprised knowing that she acted so stiff in front of him just now.

"Cook? Are you sure about that? Because I'm really hard to be satisfied when it comes to food."

"It will be tricky then. But, you can list out what you prefer to be on the menu, right? So I can figure out on how to make it close to your liking."

Lee Rang scoffs in disbelief with the girl's sudden confidence. She even had the audacity to ask him for a favor like last time - as if the barriers between them have already melted. However, just the thought of being all close and comfortable with this human makes him feel agitated.

"That's funny, cause what if I don't want anything normal for a meal?"

"Umm, I don't quite understand... But I will for sure prove that I can do anything as long as I try."

"Alright then... Have you ever heard of the nine tailed fox? Well, I'm one of them although that I'm a halfie. But still - we are always bloodthirsty and even feasts on human flesh. Say, if I only want to eat human's liver can you take it?"

This time, Rang's question left the latter taken aback. Imagine if someone is talking about cannibalism right in front of your face, when you yourself are not, thus even admitting to it. For sure no one is going to feel comfortable, right? The same goes to her.

Karina breathes in deeply, finding a white lie that can save her own ass from the dangerous yet breathtaking man.

"T-that... I-I... Will..."

"You will what?"

Lee Rang raised an eyebrow as he is expecting the latter to be speechless after the word attack.

In the meantime, Karina is brainstorming her head to find a white lie so she could save her own ass from the dangerous, yet breathtaking man.

Alas, no matter how hard she tried to come up with a lie - her heart stands with the angel's side.
