"What do you want Emma? I'm writing a song right now" I answer

"how did it go?" Emma asks

"It went good" I sigh

"That's all I get? I need details. Did you two kiss?"

"Girl no" I chuckle "She kinda vented to me and told me how she feels like an asshole for breaking up with me-"

"AS SHE SHOULD" Emma yells into the microphone

"MY EARS GON HURT IF U KEEP YELLING SHUT UP AND LET ME FINISH"

"Okay"

"But I said that it's okay and that I'm proud of her for focusing on herself and shit"

"Awww cute" she exclaims "Now get her to date you again"

"Bro why do you want us to be back together?"

"Because she was so happy when she was with you and now that she's finally better she's gonna be even happier"

I smile.

"Did you give her the anime doll?"

"Yup"

"What did she say?"

"She was like 'fuck you' when I gave it to her and 'you didn't have to buy this' or some shit"

"She better like it"

"SHE DOES"

"GOOD"

I sigh.

"Well imma go now I'm tryna work on the new shit leave me alone"

"Yeah yeah bye Bil"

"Bye" I end the call

Currently, I was at Finneas's. I grab my notebook and my pencil. I continue writing the song I was currently working on. I started it while I was on tour. It's called 'My Future'. I am working on my second album. This album is really different from the last one. I'm so excited for everyone to hear it. I'm so proud of it it's probably the best shit I ever made.
Also lately I've been thinking about Mia. That sounds so weird but yeah I am thinking of her. When she told me about how she is mentally and all I felt so much happiness because I know how much she wasn't at the time when we were dating. As much as I tried to get her off my mind while on tour I couldn't. What if she did something to herself. I wanted to text her to check up on her but I thought maybe she didn't want to socialize with anyone? I just left when she broke up with me. I mean, to be honest, I didn't have any other choice. With all my heart I wished she'd get better and focus on herself and get help. And she did and I'm so glad she did. That girl has been through a lot and she didn't deserve it at all.

"So I want this to have like a jazzy melody you know what I mean?"

"Sure I'll try something"

"And one part of the song probably the first one will have little sad vibes and then it switches to happy jazz vibey song" I explain

"What do you think of this?" he plays a cute melody

"Uuuu dope" I add some beats to make it more vibey

"You're a genius" Finneas smiles and plays some chords on his electric guitar and adds them in

"Okay I love this" we play it again

"So how sad do you want to go with the first part?"

"Not too sad... something like this" I start playing on the keyboard
