Finn had it in mind's eye. The lifeless body of her former friend. A puddle of scarlet blood which slowly seeped from her head and stained the grass. Her vivid blue eyes stared without seeing. Her legs and arms stuck out at odd angles. She was ghostly white and still as delicate as when she had lived. But still in death, she was unimaginably beautiful; you'd mistake her for an angel. Finn looked away from the horrifying sight. Reluctantly, she turned from the corpse and took off. She realised then that this secret would destroy her, turn all her insides rotten. And you could've said no.
