Enjoy reading <3!Harry woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside. The window was open letting the fresh breeze in, waking him up even more. Before he could go back to sleep someone knocked on his door.
"Come in!" he shouted and looked at the door
His maid, Ella came into the room with a tray of pancakes. Harry instantly got excited, he loved pancakes."Good morning Prince Harry!" she said smiling putting the tray of pancakes down.
" I made your favorite breakfast."" Mhmm smells delicious! Thank you." Harry said with a grin on his face, already eating a pancake.
Ella chuckled while giving Harry his orange juice.
"No problem dear, call me if you need anything. I'll be in the garden."Harry nodded and got back to his pancakes.
"Oh, and one more thing, your mother wants to tell you something so meet her in the dining room when you finish your breakfast, alright?"
"Of course. Did she say what's it about?" Harry asked.
"No, she didn't say anything."
"Oh, okay thank you for telling me"
"Of course! Goodbye, Prince Harry, you know where to find me if you need anything," she said opening the door
"Yes, I'll let you know." harry said with a smile, as Ella walked out of the room.
Harry stood up from his king-sized bed, running his fingers through his brown hair and looking at himself in his gold framed mirror. His hair was getting long again but he kind of liked it like this. He grabbed a book to read while he ate his breakfast.
*40 minutes later*
Harry finished his breakfast, showed and got dressed. He walked out of his room and went down the stairs into the dining room.
As he waited for his mother, he saw that his cat, Lion had just had breakfast himself. And he ran to pet him.Harry loved Lion. He has had him since Harry was 3. He was a cat with dark brown fur, and he kind of looked like a lion.
A familiar voice made him look up.
"Oh good, you're awake. Good morning Harry." his mother walked in with a teacup in her hand."Good morning, mother." Harry said with a smile and put Lion down.
"You wanted to tell me something?""Yes, Harry" she sighed and put the teacup on the table.
"We're having dinner tonight with the Tomlinsons, to discuss the grand ball, " she announced
" You don't have to be here for the dinner since their son isn't going to be here, but you do have to greet them properly and introduce yourself, so when I call you, come to the dining room, alright?""Uh, yes, of course!" harry said.
"Who are they anyway?""Well they're also vampires and we've done the ball together about 5 years ago and it was a great success!"
Suddenly Harry felt unsure. At these kinds of dinners, they always asked him questions about him being adopted into a vampire family. And although he didn't mind it, it still made him feel a bit insecure about himself
"They're not going to laugh at me for not being a vampire right?"
"Oh Harry, stop overthinking! You're just as much a part of the family, you know that right? Plus they're very nice and understanding, you have nothing to worry about"
They both looked at each other and Harry's mother gave him a reassuring look.
"Alright?"
"Yes, your right. Thank you." Harry nodded
"Of course I'm right" his mother smiled and walked out into the garden.
The ball was a grand event that the vampire kingdom, aka Harry's family, hosted every year in June on a full moon. This year they're hosting it with another vampire kingdom, the Tomlinsons. This ball was to celebrate vampires, witches, wizards...
Harry spent the rest of the afternoon practicing his piano.
