Harry started the day pretty early, everyone else was sleeping. He woke up to Lion purring right next to him and the calming sound of raindrops falling on his window. He smiled and pet Lion, he loves waking up to like this. When everything in the world seems so simple and easy.
He looks around for his guitar and spots it on the floor under the window with tiny water droplets on it. That's when he notices that his window is slightly open. He quickly gets up and closes his window. Before going back to bed and playing on his guitar, he looks at the window that he just closed, noticing one of the raindrops that's on it.
"Okay if this on falls first. I'll pack right now so I don't have to worry about it all day."
"And if this one falls first.." he notices another one.
"I'll just pack right before we go."He's always been lazy about packing. He's been avoiding it ever since the night of the ball when his mom announced they were going on a trip.
The first raindrop won.
He sighs and sits on the floor, dreading packing even more but he knows that if he does it now he will feel better after. So he gets up, opens up his suitcase and starts packing. It's not as boring as he thought, he gets it done in under 20 minutes.
Just as he's closing his suitcase and putting it on his dresser, he notices Lion jumping and trying to open the door. So he get's up, let's Lion out and goes down the stairs.
His mom and Ella are in the kitchen making a cake. Anne is whisking the eggs and Ella is putting the dry ingredients in another bowl.
"Good Morning!" Harry greets them with a warm smile on his face and sleepy eyes.
"Oh good morning dear. It's still early. Did we wake you up?"
"No no you didn't. I went to bed pretty early last night so. Anyway, what are guys making."
"A cake!" Ella says full of excitement.
They all laugh a little." For when we get to Salem. Plus Aria really likes this cake so I'll give her the recipe too." His mom adds
"Oh okay." He said and went to get a glass of water before going outside to the garden with Lion.
He sat on a chair where there was awning so he didn't get wet from the rain. He looked out into the garden noticing the small drops of water that fell from the leaves of the flowers and the trees. Some on them even landing in the water of the pond.
Harry's POV
I laughed as the pond came in sight, thinking back on Louis. I really miss him. He's so fun to be around. I Wonder what he's doing right now.
I really like the way his hair falls perfectly on his forehead, his eyes are the blue of every dancing sky and the color of every deep ocean.
It's getting really cold out and it's still raining so I stand up from the chair and go inside closing the door behind me.
I go to my music room and start playing für elise thinking back on the night of the ball, when I met Louis.
As I move my fingertips along the white and black keys of the piano I think about his smile, how his laugh sounds, the way he always listen very carefully when I want to tell him the way I think about things.Lion comes in between my legs making me stop thinking about Louis, and stop playing the song.
I only notice that I have been here for a while, when my mom announces from the kitchen that lunch is ready.I get up from the little black chair in front of the piano open the door, making sure that Lion got out as well, before closing it and going to the dining table where I see Ella pouring tea in everyone's cups.
