14. Comeback

Fred opened his eyes when he felt the soft fingers stroking his arm gently. Mary's touch always made him feel goosebumps all over his body. After nearly two years of dating, he still felt butterflies filling his stomach every single time he was around her.

"Were you watching me sleep again?" He asked sleepily with a grin plastered to his face. His eyes gazed over her pretty face, watching her red messy hair resting on her shoulders.

Mary nodded and smirked with her cheeks flushing pink a little bit inevitably. It wasn't the first time Fred had caught her staring at him in awe when he was sleeping. But she didn't care about it, not at all. She loved looking at his calm face when his body was finally relaxed after the whole day of working so hard at Andrews Constructions. She loved watching his chest rising up and down while he was breathing or running her fingers through his hair gently.

To be honest, Fred loved watching Mary in her sleep as well. Unfortunately, he had been so emotionally and physically drained with everything that was happening around him lately. He was sleeping like a baby and was rarely waking up earlier than a red-haired beauty sleeping next to his side.

He wrapped his arm around Mary's shoulder, pulling her body closer to his chest. Her head rested in the crook of his neck. Her messy hair rested on his collarbone, tickling it gently when she bumped her nose into his neck, smelling his scent.

"Good morning," Fred mumbled and put the finger under her chin to look straight into her eyes.

"Morning." She leaned closer and pressed a sweet kiss on his lips which he gladly accepted. The kiss became less innocent when Fred started to deepen it, making it more passionate.

Mary let out a sweet chuckle and let him in as soon as she felt he took her bottom lip between his teeth, biting it just a little bit to send a spark of electricity through her body. Without breaking the kiss, she slipped out of Fred's embrace and placed her legs on both sides of his body, straddling his lap. His hands landed on her waist and almost immediately slid towards her ass to squeeze it gently.

"Someone is eager, huh?" Fred mumbled between the kisses and pulled out for a second to look at the beautiful girl straddling his lap. As soon as he saw the passion and lust in her eyes, he got the answer.

"Come here." His voice was nothing than a whisper, his fingers caressing her sides covered by the thin fabric of her silk nighty. She let out a soft little moan when Fred reached to strap of her nightdress and pulled it down, kissing her shoulder gently.

Her fingers were running up and down his bare torso, leaving slight marks of her nails tracing his chest. She reached for the hem of her nighty and pulled it over her head, exposing her breasts to the man lying under her. Fred smirked in anticipation and rolled them over so that he was lying on top of her now, placing kisses all over her boobs. His palms traveled to the side of her panties, dragging them down her legs teasingly slow.

As soon as he threw them somewhere on the floor, the loud knocking on the front door forced them to stop. Fred raised his eyebrow at Mary, asking her without words if they were expecting guests. But by the look at her face, he knew, that she was surprised too.

"I will be right back." Fred sighed and placed another quick peck on her lips before jumping out of the bed.

In a rush, he picked up a pair of sweatpants from the closet and put them on while walking towards the stairs. As soon as he was downstairs, he realized, that his chest was covered in sweat already, but there was no time to cool down.

Fred unlocked the front door and revealed FP standing on the porch. The bags under his eyes starting to show up and although there was no other sign besides, that told Fred, his friend must've been crying, he knew him pretty well.
