The sun was setting across the abandoned city. Ivy covering the majority of buildings, Some crumbled to the ground after years of abandonment. Splashes of orange, pink, purple, and blue painted the sky as birds flew across the horizon. The only sound being the light chirps of the birds that populated the area.

"Hurry up! The villain is getting away!" A blond red-eyed pro hero with an undercut, ash-tipped ears and tail yelled as he blasted a large explosion in the direction of said villain. "I'm trying my best!" Yelled another pro hero behind him. His red hair spiked up out of his face as he glared at the alpha in front of him with eyes as red as his hair.

The villain shot an electric blast at them but missed, instead hitting a nearby street light and jumped into an alleyway. "Bakugo! He's getting away!" The redhead shouted when he realized the alpha, known as Bakugo, was distracted by the street light. "Shit..." Bakugo mumbled as he darted down the alleyway after the villain with Kiri behind him.

Slowing as they entered the alley, he looked around. Attempting to sniff out where he had gone, he closed his eyes and listened closely as well as sniffing. Suddenly, he heard something. Bakugo ran through the alley and blasted up to the top of a building. The villain quickly turned around before turning back and attempting to getaway.

Bakugo quickly blasted at the villain, hitting him head-on and knocking him out. Shit, he better not be fucking dead! Bakugo thought as he franticly ran over and checked the pulse of the villain. "Thank God..." He let out a relieved sigh. "Kiri! Call Furui(Made up boss)!" Bakugo yelled to the pro hero at the base of the building.

Time skip

"Are you serious! Why us!" Bakugo yelled at his boss. "I'm afraid so. We can't hold him in containment forever, and we don't have enough evidence to say that he was working for the LOV, or even him being a villain. He refuses to speak, so we have to have him live with you and your partner." Furui said calmly as they typed on their keyboard.

"It says here you've met this villain before?" They said looking up from their computer. "Yeah, we knew each other for about a year before he went missing, but he's completely changed! As far as I'm concerned I've never met him! He isn't the friend I once knew!" Bakugo shouted trying to convince the person in front of him.

"Then now's the time that you do. I have a feeling you'll really get along. Besides, it sounds like you were close." Furui said looking back down at the computer. "Alright, out of my office." They shooed him off. It was true, Bakugo had once been very close with this villain who at one point trained to be a hero with him and Kiri.

He was heartbroken when he had gone missing and was even more heartbroken when it came out that he had become a villain. He and Kiri cried and grew closer over it. But Bakugo had almost completely moved on. They often looked for him and became a duo when fighting him. He had even gone into hiding in the abandoned city.

Sure they had fought him, but only because he had thrown the first punch, or shock, for that matter. Even so, he never really did anything wrong. It was almost like he was protecting himself. "Well? What happened?" Kiri asked after he realized Bakugo had come out of the room. Kiri was closer to the villain who they once called a friend.
