Beast Boy x Reader (One Shot)

YOUR POV(2nd person):

You had recently moved to Jump City after your (parent/guardian) had gotten a job in the city, and you were told to get a job so you could start making money, plan for your future, and get your own apartment or whatever. You were finally old enough to live alone, and were taking the first opportunity you had, so you could live by your own rules. In the meantime, you were living in a small home with your (parents/guardians) until you earned enough for your apartment. You and your (parent/guardian) were unpacking boxes inside of your new home, and you just couldn't help but to get distracted and stare out the window. The new city was beautiful, and you couldn't wait to go and search for a job out there. You finished unpacking the box you had, and walked up to your (parent/guardian) and asked, "Hey, (parent/guardian's name)! Uh.. can I go out and look for a job now? I..I finished unpacking that box!" Your (parent/guardian) nodded. "I guess so. Just be back by 11 P.M., OK?" It was 5:30 PM. You nodded and responded with, "OK, I will!" and started towards the door.

You grabbed your bag, said bye to your (parent/guardian), and headed outside. You took a fresh breath of air, and headed along the sidewalk. You had $20 dollars in your bag and were ready to look around. You walked a little while, and looked across the street. There was a drink shop, and all this walking around was getting you a bit dehydrated, so you headed across the street and went inside. You sat down next to a boy with green hair and.. green skin at the bar. You scanned the menu and the waiter walked over to you. "What would you like?" You looked over the menu once more and picked out your favorite drink. "Uhh.. i'll have a (your favorite drink)" "Coming right up!" The waiter walked away and the boy with green hair and skin looked over at you and said, "Great choice, mama! I think I'll have a tofu shake..." You looked over at him and blushed slightly. He was kinda cute!... "Oh! Uh.. thanks. It's my favorite." The boy smiled at you and said, "I'm Beast Boy!" 'Beast Boy'.. You repeated in your head. You smiled back and responded, "...(Y/N)." Beast Boy said, "Nice to meet you, (Y/N)! So... What's a pretty girl like you doing out here all alone?" You blushed a little more. Was he hitting on you? The waiter brought out your drinks and he took a drink from it waiting for you to respond. "I- Uh... just moved here! I'm looking for a job so I can pay for an apartment... there's no openings anywhere!" Beast Boy blinked a few times and said, "Hey! Maybe you can work at the Titan Tower! That's where I live. I'm sure Robin will give you a job!" he then whispered to himself, "I hope..." His cheeks were tinted a bit of a darker color than before and he looked up at you, full of hope.

BEAST BOY'S POV(1st person):

The rest of the titans were out battling the Hive, and I, being the clever guy I am, painted a nearby bird green and snuck inside this drink shop. I ordered my usual, a tofu shake, and a girl, who looked about my age walked in. She was beautiful, She wasn't a super hero, so I didn't know how I could ask her to be my girlfriend, but I started up a conversation with her anyways. Talking to her was amazing! After hearing that she was looking for a job and an apartment, I remembered that at the titan tower we had a spare room and we've been needing an extra person around the tower for... minor jobs like.. controlling the towers computer system!...so yeah, I took the first chance I got to offer her a job. I could feel my cheeks getting hot, and was trying to hold back the blush, but just couldn't. She was just so cute! She responded, "Oh! Yeah, I guess.. What do you guys do anyway?" I paused and said, "We're super heros! The teen titans!"

YOUR POV:

He was adorable. "The Teen Titans? Oh! I've heard of you guys!" Earlier that day you heard someone on the street talking about how the Teen Titans battled the Hive once again.. or something. Beast Boy stood up and said, "So, how about we head down to the tower, mama!" He was still blushing as far as you could see. You got up, following his lead. "Sure!" You felt your cheeks get hot as well. You both headed outside and Beast Boy slipped in where the fight was taking place. They finished off the so called Hive, and Beast Boy talked to Robin for a few seconds. Robin looked over at you and smiled. Beasty came running back over to you and said, "You're in! Come on!" He grabbed your hand and pulled you gently to the rest of the titans. You looked at all of the titans, as they introduced themselves to you. "I'm Robin! I'm the leader...-" "I'm Cyborg!-" "Raven." "I am the Starfire! Pleased to meet you!" You smiled and said, "Oh, I'm (Y/N)!" Beast Boy smiled up at you and said, "Isn't she great!!" You blushed a little once again.

BEAST BOY'S POV:

Cyborg instantly realized I liked her and pulled me aside as everyone else, including (Y/N) went inside the tower. "Looks like someone has a crush!~" He said, causing me to blush. "(Y/N)?" I said... "You like her, don't you beasty!" "What?" I laughed awkwardly for a second, and paused. "Maybe a little... but she would never like me!!" Cyborg grinned and said, "Oh, I think she likes you, Beast Boy. I think she likes you alo-" I cut him off, "Really?!!" I ran inside, and ran into the kitchen where Robin was touring (Y/N). "Hey Rob!" I said, still excited from earlier, "Can I- Uh.. tour (Y/N) around for the rest of the tour?" "I guess so. All that's left is her room, anyway."

YOUR POV:

The teen titans took you inside and showed you around. They showed you what you'd be doing and how to do everything. Beast Boy and Cyborg stayed outside, which was a bit dissapointing to you because you were hoping Beast Boy would tour you around.. Luckily he came inside just in time to show you your room. All the titans went their seperate ways, and Beast Boy said, "Alright, (Y/N)!! Come with me!" He was blushing again. So were you. He took you up the elevator and you walked past all the rooms against the wall. Each room had a picture of the titan who lived in there. The last one was blank. The door opened as you and Beasty approached it. "This is your room!" He grinned widely. You looked around. It was big, roomy, and coincidentally, painted in your favorite color! "Its..." You paused, "Its amazing! I love it, Beast Boy!" You turned to him and hugged him without thinking. He hugged you back, but then you pulled away, realizing how awkward that was, and also before realizing he hugged you back..

BEAST BOY'S POV:

She said she loved the room! "I'm glad you-" She then hugged me then and there. My whole face felt hot, and I hugged her back nervously. She pulled away, and I looked up to her as she avoided eye contact. "Uhm.." I said, scratching the back of my head, "(Y/N), Has anyone ever told you.. uh" I was getting flustered. That was weird because normally it was easy for me to talk to girls I like! "Um, you're really pretty, (Y/N).."

You were a bright red, and he was a dark green. You responded, "Th-Thank you, Beast Boy.. I-" Beast Boy stood up tall and pecked your lips softly, with his eyes closed, blushing like a mad man. You were too, but you mindlessly kissed back before he got back down. It was quiet for a few seconds and Beasty said, "D-Do you wanna...maybe... go out some time, (Y/N)?.." You smiled and nodded, "I'd love to.." Beast Boy smiled up at you and you smiled back at him. You felt butterflies in your stomach...and...so did he...- Suddenly, you remembered that you had to be home by 11. You checked the time as a wave of panick went through your body. It was already 10:35! You needed to leave now!.. "Uh.. Beast Boy.. I... have to get home.. " You kept smiling awkwardly as you propped your bag up on your shoulder. You looked at him as he stood there, "Aw. do you have to!" You nodded, feeling a bit bad. You wanted to stay just as much as he wanted you to. "Awh! Well... Alright.. B-Bye (Y/N)!-" He was studdering a little. You waved slowly, and walked away as Beast Boy whispered under his breath, "..........I-.. -I love you.."
