With her new shoulder bag hanging from her right shoulder and her phone in her left hand, waiting in the front of the building for her brother and Mr.Cho. Her eyes reading the messages from Dante, who was not very happy with her leaving Italy and having him find out from Paolo. Who is also actively looking for her as she is his baby sister, his adoptive baby sister.
Mr.Cho joins her not to long after, greeting her. Vincenzo joins them after awhile, carrying his briefcase and a hand in his pocket.
"Did you have a nice trip?" Mr.Cho questions her brother.
"Yes." Vincenzo nods, replying.
"The team leader from Babel's Investment and Development is on his way."
"We'll go and meet him." Vincenzo looks at Viviana who nods at him. "Where should we meet?"
"There is a cafe across the street." Mr.Cho suggests but their conversation is interrupted by Hong Yuchan.
"How about my office?" He joins the three of them. "It concerns our plaza. Wouldn't it be better to do it in my office?"
And that's where they are now, in the Jipuragi Law Firm. In the midst of a very unproductive meeting. Viviana barely took notes on anything as Vincenzo was repeating himself.
"How many times must I repeat myself?" Vincenzo questions with his sister sitting to the right of him, her arms crossed against her chest. Her brother continues, "My client will demolish the building and build a new one. And the previous tenants will have their lots back."
The other lawyer in Jipuragi brings them drinks, Viviana gives him a smile as a thanks and takes a small drink from hers.
"All right." The team leader writes a number down on the notepad in front of him. "This is our last offer." He pushes the notepad towards them, but they don't even look at it. Both Vincenzo and Viviana are looking straight at the man.
"It's am much better offer from two days ago. It's the best we can do."
The team leader gets confused as no one is saying anything or even looking at the offer. he holds it up, trying to get them to see the number. He sighs in disbelief.
"Do you not understand me?" Vincenzo questions.
"I hear you just fine. You know what? I wanted to wrap things nicely." He slams his hand down against the table. "If you keep this up, things will get ugly. I'm here on behalf of Babel E&C. If you keep rejecting our offer, you'll regret it later."
