This was the worst part of George's day, lunch. When you have no friends in high school, obviously you have no one to sit with during lunch, and that's exactly how George felt. Having to walk around and look for an empty seat felt so embarrassing.

He felt like eyes were on him at all times, his anxiety making the situation that was bound to happen everyday 10x worse. Days where there was a football game making it 10 times worse, only because a lot more students come than usual and sometimes he would be the last one standing in the entire cafeteria.

"Mr.Davidson?" He whipped his head around to see his 4th period teacher. Also known as the hottest teacher in the school or Mr. Blade.

"Y-y-yes sir?" God damn it. George stuttered when he was nervous, which was another reason he was bullied by almost the entire school.

Mr. Blade chuckled lowly at Georges stutter making him feel worse about it, even the teachers make fun of him.

"Follow me, there's a seat in the back of the cafeteria." George nodded and lowered his head as he followed the teacher through the large cafeteria. They reached more towards the back where most of the popular kids sat.

"Sit down and get lunch if you need it, I'll see you next period Mr. Davidson."

He didn't dare look up to see who was at the table, he would know as soon as the teacher left and the teasing started. He placed his bag under the seat and sat down, hoping they would leave him alone for once.

"Well, if it isn't G-g-g-george!" Everyone at the table began laughing and he immediately regretted not staying home that day.

He finally decided to look up just to see the most popular group of seniors in the entire school.

Today was not going to be a good one.

He looked around at everyone, Dave was the one to speak first and make fun of the small boy, he was whispering into Phil's ear, right next to Phil was Tommy and Toby who were laughing whith food in their mouth at the joke Dave made. Disgusting

Next to them was a girl he didn't recognize, letting him know that Clay was right next to her.

Not to his surprise, they were basically attached to each other, the girls head laying on the blondes shoulder. Clay was the only one not laughing at Dave's remark.

Clay was the most popular kid in the school, and for a good reason. He was extremely attractive, and could pull anyone he wanted no matter the gender, he was a Quarterback on the football team, meaning he kept up a very fit body type.

What no one seemed to notice though was how smart he was, he had never gotten below a B+ in any class the entire time he had been in high school. He was nice too, he made sure to never bully anyone or laugh at his friends insensitive jokes.

He looked up at Clay who was running his fingers through the girls hair, smiling fondly.

Their was one thing bad about Clay. He was overly good at making it seem like he was in love with you, then he would leave you after a week of acting like you were the love of his life. George only knew this because he had been through this in middle school.
