Days

Day 2:

"You're such an idiot George," Dream huffed out as George held strawberry's up to his eyes while sticking a piece of cantaloupe out of his mouth.

George quickly sucked the cantaloupe back into his mouth, making Dream burst out laughing when the brunet started to choke.

Dream pulled out the chair next to George and placed his plate down onto the table, he quickly took the first bite of his pancakes and moaned at the burst of flavor.

George snorted and turned towards Dream as the blonde went for his next bite, pausing at the feeling of someone watching him. Dream slowly turned his head to see the brunet intently staring at him.

"What?"

George smiled, making Dream feel his stomach tie in a knot.

"Have you ever been told how pretty you are?"

Dream sputtered and dropped his fork, his eyes widening at George as the brunet just laughed.

"Wow Dream, didn't know you were that easy to fluster."

Dream furrowed his eyebrows and bent down to pick up his fork, placing it on the table next to his plate.

"Shut up George." He grumbled.

Day 7:

"You know I haven't been able to get good sleep since I got here."

Dream turned to George in surprise, they had been watching the new Spiderman movie in the living room for a while, not a word coming out of either ones mouth as they watched peacefully.

"What do you mean? Do you need a new mattress, is this one not comfortable enough because if it isn't we can-"

"Dream, shut up!" George whisper-yelled while pointing to Sapnaps room where the boy was sleeping.

"Sorry.." Dream whispered.

"And no, the mattress is just fine it's just.. I don't know, this is kind of embarrassing."

Dream made a face at George, one that said 'we announce when we're going to jerk off, I don't think it could get more embarrassing than that'.

George grumbled and pulled his legs up to his chest, wrapping his arms around them so they wouldn't fall.

"We used to call each other every night and sleep on call and now that we're in the same house it's kind of weird to do that and.. I think that's the reason."

Dream smiles and slowly but purposefully falls over onto George, the brunet huffing and lightly smacking Dream in the shoulder.

"Y'know George, if you wanted to sleep with me bad you could've just asked-"

"Dream!"

George pushed Dream off of him as the blonde laughed loudly, but quickly stopped when a loud 'shut up' echoed through the house from Sapnaps room.

"Dream, I'm going to bed since you're not taking this seriously."

The brunet stood up, but before he could take a step forward and hand grabbed his wrist.

"No no, I'm sorry George."

Dream got up and pulled George in for a hug, the brunet freezing for a few seconds but then wrapping his arms around the blondes waist.

"To be honest, I haven't been getting good sleep either for the same reason, I miss our sleep-deprived talks."

Even though they're still wrapped in a hug, George could still feel Dream smiling into his shoulder, neither of them showing a sign of letting go.
