"What's going on here? What are you doing?" Rosé quickly approached both girls.
"Rosé, it isn't what it looks like it's...." Rosé cut Jennie off.
"I know exactly what this is." Rosé snapped. "Lisa, who the hell do you think you are?" She looked past Jennie and glared at Lisa.
"Excuse me?" Lisa took a step back in shock.
"You heard me? Who do you think you are?" Rosé repeated. "She's drunk and you're taking advantage of that," she barked out. "You should know better."
"Rosé..." Jennie started.
Lisa scoffed. "She came onto me," she replied.
"Still, she's drunk and in a very committed relationship. You should know better," Rosé shot out.
Lisa laughed obnoxiously. "Please, she can only use that excuse so many times." Lisa glared at both women.
"Pardon me?" Rosé looked back and forth between both women.
"Rosé...let me..." Jennie started but was cut off by Lisa.
"You heard me." Lisa stared Rosé down. "You know what, fuck this. I don't need this shit," Lisa pushed her way past Both Rosé and Jennie. "I'll let Jennie fill you in with the details but I'm going home. I don't need this shit." Lisa muttered before opening the door and slamming it behind her. Rosé stared at the door and slowly turned back to face Jennie.
"Rosé..." Jennie frowned.
"Care to explain what the hell that was about?" Rosé raised an eyebrow as she waited for her best friend to fill her in.
"It's complicated," Jennie stated. Where the hell should she start?
"Complicated how? I just walked in on you cheating on Kai, with a girl, with Lisa. Which makes no sense because you're not even gay...or are you?" The confusion and anger in Rosé's voice were visible.
Jennie inhaled a deep breath, slowly exhaling before speaking up, allowing herself to grow the courage and finally tell her best friend the truth. "That guy I cheated on Kai with eight months ago...It wasn't a guy...It was Lisa." Jennie replied in a small voice. She could feel the tears form in the corner of her eyes.
"I see..." Rosé wasn't sure what to say to her. She felt hurt that Jennie had lied to her, but what hurt her most was that Jennie didn't feel like she could come and talk to her.
"Rosé..I...I love her..." Jennie frowned. She watched Rosé closely, trying to read her expression but her face remained emotionless.
"When did you come to this conclusion?" Rosé sighed, already having a tiny idea of their love for one another.
"I don't know...it's just been building up over time I guess," Jennie groaned.
Rosé's body slowly relaxed as she saw the distress in her best friend's face. "Why did you lie to me?" She whispered. Jennie was relieved to see she was calming down.
She took a step closer to the other woman. "I was scared Rosé, I have been scared the last eight months. I don't know what's going on with me. I've slowly been falling in love with her and it's been messing with me. It's scary because I think..." Jennie trailed off as her eyes met with the floor.
"You think what, unnie?" Rosé asked calmly as she stood still and patiently waited for the other woman to continue.
Jennie slowly brought her eyes back to the other woman, tears flooding in them at this point. "I think...I love her more than Kai," Jennie frowned. "I can't get her off my mind, and that's why I've been acting so weird the last few months. Don't ask me why her, because I honestly don't understand it myself. But I do and I can't change how I feel Rosé...trust me...I've tried." Jennie started to cry.
