Running

I walked downstairs casually after watching the hostages for a while and then heard Rio screaming from one of the rooms. I went over to see what was going on.

"Tokyo!" He screamed again out of the window. I ran over and then saw her, running in her underwear and top. She looked back at us and then was tackled down by one of the police.

My eyes widened and as did my mouth. She was outside, like actually outside. My shock quickly turned to anger and I stormed into the room I knew Berlin was in.

"I did what had to be done." He told me. "The bitch played Russian roulette with me and was very willing to kill me, don't be angry with me."

"I understand that what she did was completely wrong but Rio will now turn against us." I scolded. "He won't forgive you for this and I know how you get when you don't get your own way."

"Rio is not stupid, he won't try and go against me again. For now I need you to stay out of the way and let me handle things."

"Problem is when you handle things, it ends up with violence. Berlin I can't handle any more stress in here, it's too overwhelming for me. You're making life harder for me and you know it." I glared at him and then walked out of the door.

I didn't really know what to feel. Tokyo went insane and almost killed Berlin whilst strapping me to a chair and hitting me in the head with a gun and I think she did deserve this but Rio would be so mad with us for this now and wouldn't be on our side for a while. Berlin acted like he didn't care.

The professor hadn't called in hours and it was making us all worried. I still trusted him though. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him and from the start, I knew I could put my faith in him. I'm not going to break that.

Flashback:

We were in the house and it was dark so I went down for some water and I heard talking from the dining room. I didn't mean to ease drop but it kind of just happened.

"Why are you throwing there in the fire?"

"We need to memories gone, at first they were memories, now they're evidence that can be used against us."

I could faintly hear them but my sensitive hearing could point out the voices. Berlin and the professor.

"We're doing this for father, Sergio." Berlin spoke. Was that the professor's name? "He loves us both."

I started getting suspicious that something had been going on between them and no one knew.

"I love you brother."

My eyes widened. The professor had lied to us. Berlin was his brother.

They hugged and I went upstairs to the professor's room and waited for him to come in, which he eventually did.

"You lied to us." I said and he closed the door behind him, just standing there in his pyjamas. "Berlin calls you by your real name, Sergio."

He looked down at the ground and placed his glass on the desk.

"I put my faith in you from the start, least you could do was tell me the truth." I snapped and stood up.

"Berlin's my brother." He told me slowly. "The heist was my fathers idea, he was killed by police after getting caught robbing a bank. I've always wanted to carry out his work but I thought if people knew about me and Berlin, it would complicate things and you wouldn't focus on anything but that. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

I looked down and nodded.

"Go get some rest, we have class in the morning." He smiled softly. I did the same back and then left.
