"Mom..?" I said. 

Mom was busy cleaning the room and making a dinner and stuff. 

She looked up to me and said,

"Oh, hello honey."

"Can I tell you something...?" I asked. "It's kind of important."

"Oh, well tell me quickly."

I sighed. 

Mom's gonna be mad...

I thought.

"I have a crush on somebody."

I said. 

Though it wasn't true. He accepted my feeling.

I didn't want to tell her yet. 

"Oh?" She stopped her hands and started walking towards me. "Well, who's the lucky girl?"

"Mom no..." I said.

She looked confused. 

"What do you mean? Are you embarrassed?"

She said with teasing tone. 

"No, it's not that..."

I mumbled. 

"Then what is it?"

She sounded sharp like a glass. 

I was scared to tell her.

"I..." My voice trembled.

"Yes?"

I took a deep breath. 

"He's not a lady."

Mom suddenly became silent.

"Mom...?" I said quietly. "Are you...?"

Then-

*Slaps!*

I gasped.

"Ow..."

"You know that being gay is a sin right?" She said. "I didn't teach you to be like this! I- "

She was furious. 

I knew this was a bad idea.

"I'm disappointed." 

That one sentence. 

It hurt so bad. 

it was like a knife, no..., more sharper than that. 

Told you this was a bad idea.

Why didn't you kept this as a secret?

such a disappointment.

Mom hates you now!

I ran out the living room, went up stair, and slammed my door.

I heard mom yelling but I ignored her.

What do you mean being gay is a sin?
