The whole plane ride I wanted to rip my hair out. For the first 10 minuets it was quiet but then this dumbass who was walking to the bathroom bumped into a air-hostess and caused her to trip and spill water all over a lady and her baby. So for the rest of the hour and 20 minuets were were on the plane the baby started crying and didn't stop until we landed.

When I finally got off the plane I texted my grandma to let her know I landed safely. I put my AirPods in and started to listen to my playlist that was mainly just consisted of Arctic Monkeys.

I made sure that I had everything I needed and then I headed outside the airport and walked to were my car was picking me up. I checked my email when I got outside and it said that there would be someone waiting for me with my name on a card. So I waited there for a few minuets until I finally spotted a man dressed in all back, with black ray-bands covering his eyes and his hood pulled up over his head.

He was pretty tall around 6'1 and was pretty skinny too and looked as though he was in his mid 20s. He didn't look like any of my previous drivers I had ever had, in the past they were always in their mid 40s-50s and were short and chubby, but I didn't think anything of it. He was holding out a sign with one hand, that had my name chelsea brooks written on it, and in his other hand he was holding his cell phone while typing something on it with his thumb.

When I read my name I started towards him as I pulled out my phone to lower the volume of  my music, once I reached him I cleared my throat.

"uh hi, i'm chelsea. Your with Milton Academy right?" I asked,

Without looking up from his phone he just hummed a yes told me to get in the backseat, sounding really disinterested about the whole situation. So I just nodded in response and went to go put my bag in the trunk but as I went to open the trunk a hand slammed it back down making me jump in shock, when I looked over my shoulder I saw the guy standing behind me. He gave me a fake smile,

"I got it, u can go sit down," he said in the same disinterested tone as before.

With out asking any questions I got into the back seat of the car and put my seat belt on. A few moments later the drivers seat door opened and the still nameless man got in and started the car. I didn't bother trying to start any conversation because based on our previous exchange of words I could tell he wasn't much of a talker.

10 minuets had gone by and I had been listening to my music and looking out the window. The unnamed driver had also taken his hood off his head revealing his short amber colored hair.

After another 5 minuets of no talking I finally broke the silence,

"uh so whats your name?" I asked loud enough for him to hear me, a few seconds went by and I started to think he hadn't heard me when–

"don't worry about it sweetheart" he replied while keeping his eyes on the road. I frowned at his name for me and resumed my music. I decided its better just to sit in silence if he's going to be such an ass.

Another 10-20 minutes went by of unbothered silence.  I looked out the window and listened to my music as I started thinking about who was going to be my new roommate.

Im just praying that i'm not paired with Emily Rose. Emily and I were pretty good friends in junior year, well really good friends actually. She was the only person other than Ava that I told about what happened to my parents.  So when I found out she told half my english class that my mom killed herself– which isn't even true, naturally you could understand why we stopped being friends.
