Upon arriving at The Hill, I realized it looked exactly the same as when I last came here.
Rose bushes along the tree lines with several other flowers growing in the mist of their beauty with Cherry Blossoms in between them. Their beautiful, light pink blooms with a hint of hot pink in the middle. Absolutely breathtaking.
I moved along to the edge of the cliff as it over looked the ocean with the waves crashing beneath it.
As I sat on the edge dangling my feet off the edge, the comforting smell of the salt water drifted up. I just wanted to have this moment forever.
Who did Alec think he was, saying all that shit!? He doesn't know me!
I stood up and just screamed until I couldn't anymore.
"Whoa there darling, what's got you in such a mess?" someone asked behind me. I turned to only see Alec. Wonderful
"How'd you find this place? Nobody knows about this, so how did you?" I asked confused.
"I followed you here. I needed to talk to you without anyone around," he said calmly.
"I'm listening," I said smartly.
"Why are you like this? So mean and an alcoholic? huh?" He asked sitting where I previously was.
"Doesn't concern you alright," I said sitting beside him.
"Why do honestly hate me?" he asked looking at me.
"Cause you make me furious, and that's all you need to know.'' I said getting up and walking to my truck, grabbing my shoes in the process.
As I unlocked it and I noticed Alec still sitting there on the edge, and I felt a tinge of guilt ,but oh well, it'll go away.
I slipped on my shoes and started to drive to mine and Layla's house.
I opened the door and there was Max in the kitchen making some food.
"Hey, what are you making?" I asked putting my keys in my pocket.
"Oh hey, nothing much, just some homemade soup," she smiled.
"Well it smells great, but I have a question first," I looked away.
"Oh, alright what is it," she said moving her blonde hair off her shoulder.
"Do you hate taking care of my drunk ass, do you even want me to stay here?" I looked her dead in the eyes.
She looked away, not ever looking at me.
"Well...Rox..um...you see..uh.." She trailed off.
"Say no more," I smiled.
I walked upstairs to my room and got out my duffle bag. I put everything that was a necessity to me: clothes, make up, shoes, bathroom stuff, everything.
I walked back down and saw Max still in the kitchen but on her phone shaking. I coughed to get her attention.
"Is that my stuff...?" She asked sad.
"No honey, its mine, I'm leaving," I smiled sweetly.
I reached in my pocket and got out enough money for her to make it for about 3 months and put it on the kitchen table.
"That should last for a while. When I have more, I will give you some more. But knowing you, it'll last longer than it should,'' I laughed, "I love you, Layla." I smiled walking out getting out my keys and putting my stuff in the back of my truck and leaving my old house.
Back to the hill for me I guess.
