Itachi x Sakura

Chapter 3

Later that day, Itachi watched Sakura closely and noticed she started to wake up.

"Good, you're awake." He said.

"Where am I? What happened?" Sakura asked as she started to sit up.

"You were knocked unconscious after you broke through my tsukuyomi, I brought you back to my hideout." Itachi said.

"Tell me, what do you want from me?" Sakura asked.

"I will tell you all in good time. But for now, I need you to rest up and be still, or your wounds will re-open." Itachi said.

"My wounds?! You bandaged them?!" Sakura asked as she saw the bandages on her.

"Yes I did, I need your help, so letting you die would be pointless." Itachi said.

"You need my help with what? I'm not going to help you capture Naruto!" Sakura said.

"I've no interest in Naruto right now. I have needs of your medical skills." Itachi said.

"My medical skills? What could possibly want with it?" Sakura asked as she became shocked.

"Medicine." Itachi answered.

"What?" Sakura asked as she saw him walking towards her and leaned over her.

"I need your medical skills for medicine. But right now, you need to eat and let your own wounds heal." Itachi said.

"Is he taking care of me?" Sakura asked herself.

"I'll be back, I'm going to get you some soup." Itachi said as he walked out of the room to get Sakura some soup.

Then he came back and gave Sakura her soup and bread.

"Eat this soup and bread, they'll give you some energy." Itachi said.

"What makes you think I'll cooperate with you? You're after Naruto so that you and the rest of the Akatsuki can take the nine tailed fox out of him, you're also the one who tortured Sasuke and killed your own family. Face it, you're an enemy." Sakura said.

"Sasuke is important to you." Itachi said.

"All my friends are important to me, especially Sasuke!" Sakura said.

"I know we're enemies, but if you wish to be free me and go back to the hidden leaf village in one piece, you have to help me, rather you like it or not, you're me prisoner." Itachi said.

Sakura's story-

All right, I can probably bluff my way out of this and poison him with my medicine.

"What sort of medicine? What type of disease you're suffering from?" Sakura asked.

Itachi held up the medicine bottles to Sakura's face as he showed it to her.

"It's a type of poison that attacks the lungs and this medicine has only lessen it's effect, I can't remove it entirely." He said.

"Poison? And you want me to come up with an antidote?" Sakura asked.

"Yes, had you not countered Sasori's poison so effectively, I wouldn't bother asking you." Itachi said as he gave the bottle to her.

"I'll need more information about the poison, I'm gonna need your blood samples and a laboratory where I can work in to make the antidote." Sakura said.

"I took the liberty of bringing all your books here and I've also brought the things you need for blood samples. I will not object to a physical examination and the laboratory has been prepared for you in the cellar." Itachi said.

"How long you're gonna keep me here?" Sakura asked.

"Winter is coming, and the mountain passes will be impossible even for a ninja. You have to stay here for at least three month." Itachi said.

"My friends will come looking for me, you know." Sakura said as she warned him.

"No, they won't, because I don't recommend trying to increase the effects of the poison or attempting to kill me in some other way, You will be closely watched Sakura Haruno. If you kill me, Naruto dies." Itachi said as he activated his sharingan.

"You're bluffing!!" Sakura said as she became shocked.

"No Sakura, I'm not. It has been arranged. If I die, so will Naruto." Itachi said as he activated the chakra seal on Sakura's arms.

"Grrrr! You bastard, I'll kick your..." She was cut off when Itachi grabbed her by her neck.

That's never away to treat a lady.

"You'll do nothing, if you want Naruto to live. You will remain here in this cabin and working on the antidote. I won't let you go until I'm fully cured." Itachi said.

"What guarantee do I have that Naruto will be safe??" Sakura asked.

"Naruto will never be safe. But he will be safe in this particular case once I'm cured." Itachi said.

"Why should I believe you? You wiped out your own clan, tried to capture Naruto and tortured Kakashi sensei and Sasuke!!" Sakura said.

"Because you have no other choice, either you help me or Naruto dies." Itachi said as his grip was getting tighter on Sakura's neck as she thought to herself while she was getting choked, "Damn!! My hands are tied!!"

"So, what's it going to be, Sakura Haruno?" Itachi asked.

"Alright!! I'll help you!!" She said as she gave in as Itachi let go of her.

"First I'll have to change your bedsheets and get you some more soup. Sit in the chair next to the fireplace." Itachi said.

Sakura got up from the bed and sat on the chair next to the fireplace like he told her.

While Itachi went to go get the bedsheets to change the bed, Sakura thought about her friends, Including Sasuke and Kakashi as she became sad at the fact that there was no way out of the situation that she was in and the only way for her to keep Naruto safe was to help Itachi.

As he was changing the bedsheets, Sakura was in deep thought.

"Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi sensei, I'm sorry." She said to herself.

Itachi looked back and saw tears falling down from her eyes as he noticed how shook up she was.
