Chapter 20: I'm Ready
"C'mon, we're going out," Milly says, walking into my bedroom. I raise my eyebrows, looking away from my computer. I save the changes I made on Epic Fandom. I was currently writing a short summary on the whole 'Harry's Single' thing. It was currently four o'clock in the afternoon. Since we woke up at eleven, we spent the day doing nothing besides taking showers or baths.
"Where to?" I ask, closing my laptop. I swing my legs over my bed, gently placing them on the wooden floor. I walk over to where Milly is at the door, leaning against. Milly crosses her arms over her chest. I do the same.
"Times Square. Interview. C'mon, we're getting you ready," Milly answers, starting to make her way down the hallway. She walks into the walk-in wardrobe, looking at my side. I lean against the wall. I watch Milly look through my clothes.
"What do you mean, we?" I ask.
"We as in, I'm picking your outfit today," Milly says, tossing me a white button up, dark grey blazer, black jeans, a black belt, and black shoes. I slip them all on, fixing my hair in the mirror. Once I finish, I turn back to Milly.
"Now, I get to choose you're clothes," I grin. Milly sighs, taking a seat on the white couch thing. I turn to her side of the closet, going through rack after rack. Finally finding something decent enough, I toss it to Milly.
"I'm going to look at your jewelry," I say, placing some heels in front of her. I open the drawers at the bottom, looking through her jewelry. After looking and looking, I find something I thought would look good with the outfit she's wearing. Turning around, I find Milly in her outfit.
"Here you go, and excuse me. I'll be right back," I say, handing her a pearl bracelet. I slip it on her wrist before speeding off. I rush into my room, opening one of my drawers. I pick up the necklace and rush back to her.
"And of course, you need a necklace," I say, motioning her to hold her hair up. Milly turns around, holding up her brown hair. I slip the necklace around her head, fumbling with the little latch. Once I finally get it, I turn Milly around to look at her.
"Your airplane necklace? Harry, I can't take one of your favorite necklaces," Milly says, reaching around her neck to unlatch it. I stop her, taking her hands away. I shake my head. Milly raises her eyebrows. "Are you sure?"
"Positive. Now go do all the stuff you girls do before you go out," I say, pushing her into the bathroom in the closet. Milly closes the door, getting to work. I lay on the white seat in the middle of the closet, taking out my phone.
Ten minutes into her work, Milly calls me up. I peek my head through the door, raising my eyebrows. Milly, who is currently curling her eyelashes, turns to look at me. I stare at her face, drooling slightly.
"Bring me the scissors and my curling iron, please," Milly asks. I raise my eyebrows.
"Did you just say ski-zors? Why do you need them anyway?" I ask.
"Yes, I did. And I'm giving myself a hair cut," Milly answers, shooing me away.
I obey and head off to her bedroom. Finding her curling iron, I head into the kitchen. Opening one of the drawers, I find the purple 'ski-zors' and head back into the closet. I knock on the door. Milly takes the items and slams the door in my face. "Rude."
"Sorry, baby cakes!" Milly calls.
I can already her the snipping of the scissors starting on the other side of the door. Taking my position on the couch again, I start scrolling through my Twitter feed, liking things here and there. Finally, after ten minutes, Milly opens the door.
