Shadowed wolf

I started drowsily at the figure, the wolf was massive. I blinked and sniffed, the scent was unknown, who are you? I wondered.
The wolf had messy brown fur and strange golden brown eyes.
"Who- who are you...?" I whispered, pushing my head forward.
The wolf said nothing, they flicked their tail for me to follow, I didn't know what to do: what do I do? Follow or stay?
I sighed, placing a paw forward. As soon as I did the wolf darted off. Suddenly feeling more awake I bounded off after them, the chase is on I laughed in my head.
We ran past many trees and bushes but didn't stop, there was no stopping. We ran up a small mound but when I got down it the wolf halted. I nearly tripped at the sudden stop but I managed to steady myself, and luckily I did! I stared out across the large winding stone, flat and hard with bits of white doted on the middle. A huge great big creature ran straight past us, with a unusual blue coloured pelt. This is a tallpaw path... I've heard stories of these.
"We're not going to cross it are we?" I whimpered. The other wolf only flicked its ear in response. I drooped my head down and waited until I could cross.
The other wolf crept forward and place one paw one the path then flicked there tail for me to follow. I looked at them for a second then ran as fast as possible across the path, just as we reached the other side another giant strange creature drove past. "That was close" I mumbled.
"It was" the other wolf replied, "you should learn to be faster".
I turned my head slowly, "oh so you do talk then?" I said rolling my eyes.
"Of course I talk!" They snapped at me.
"Good. Well then you should have no problem telling me where we are? Where were going and who you are?" I barked, staring at the large wolf.
"Ugh, this is why I don't talk, so many questions... uhh fine, we're near alpha peaks, we're going there and i am kiaata (Kia-ta), that good enough for you, princess?" He said in a cocky tone.
"I am not a princess! I am the son of the alpha!" I spat
Kiaata eyed me then grinned "eh, close enough... Zordo wasn't it?"
"I- how did-" I began
"Yes, yes come on now no time to have a social life!" He barked rudely.
We carried on down a field until we met some thorns and giant mountains on the other side.
"Wow..." my voice trailed.
Kiaata then turned to me, "you will meet with me then next time I call, yes?"
"I, uhh- okay, I, I think" I stammered.
"Oh great a stutterer" he huffed. "Remember, only if I call you, don't tell anyone about this, don't even mention my name, got it?"
I nodded.
"Good, it is time to go" he waved his tail.
Suddenly everything began to darken until it was as if staring into a starless night sky.
I jolted up quickly, my breathing heavy. I turned my head to see that I was back in my den.
It was.... a dream but it felt so, so real.

I look around the den it felt emptier then usual... oh well. I padded out into the dull sunlight and arched my back in a stretch. I went over to the kill pile to grab myself some food, I grabbed a small vole and walked over to sit beside a tall rock. I ate it slowly. Rose walked over to me with a squirrel dangling from her jaws. She dropped the squirrel,
"Mind if I sit?" She asked politely.
I nodded and smiled "of course" I replied.
She smiled back and sat down, taking a bite out of her squirrel.
"Hope hunting will be good today..." she said awkwardly trying to make conversation.
"Yes... I think the patrol is coming back soon as well, we could see if we could hunt together after... if you want that is!" I barked.
"Yeah, that would be nice" she smiled.
After we finished eating the patrol arrived back but instead of looking relaxed they seem more... more on edge.
I tilted my head towards the entrance of where they entered and Rose look too. We stood up and strolled over to them, before we could say anything Ice came bounding over to the patrol.
"What is it? You look worried" I asked concerned.
The head of the patrol, Fox spoke.
"Their back..."
Ices eyes clouded with confusion and repeated what Fox just said. After a few moments Ice looked up with acknowledgement.
"Their back hey? Well then... things will have to go back to the way things were"  Ice whipped around and faced me, "Zordo you will come with me and Fox, yes?-" as he said that he sounded as if he regretted asking me. Oh well.
"Wh-where?" I stammered.
"Doesn't matter where, you'll find out soon enough, now are you coming or what?" Ice sounded annoyed.
"Well I was hoping to go hunting with Rose so..." I looked over to Rose,
"It's alright you can go, we'll hunt later" she responded trying to sound more cheerful.
I nodded.
"Okay I'll come" I confirmed to Ice. He rolled his eyes in response and beckoned me to follow with his tail.

We trekked through the pine forest and onto the moor and when we got half way across it a sudden strong wolf scent shot up to my nose.
We crossed it until we came to a large oak forest.
"Wait-!" I yelped to the others.
They turned around to me.
"There's another wolf pack?"
They both nodded to me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked tilting me head slightly.
"There was no point, they left their territory awhile ago not sure if they'd return or not because there was a prey shortage for days and days on end there but there territory is full of prey now so they've returned I guess" Ice added quickly before turning around and continued walking.
As we walked deeper into the forest fresh scents began to fill my nose, looks like these wolves want to get the idea out that this is there territory then.
Suddenly I heard a low growling, I stopped in my tracks and looked around, I couldn't see any wolf. Maybe I'm hearing things, I wouldn't be surprised if I were! But then, just as I thought that and began to continue walking I was knocked off my paws by another wolf. We rolled around on the leafy earth until we came to a stop, I was pinned down fiercely by a wolf, they had white fur and blue... eyes. The wolf dug their claws into my chest. They starred into my eyes, growing. They lifted their head, still looking at me. They began to loosen their grip but then a flash of white went rushing into the wolf on me throwing them off. It was ice? ice saved me! That's a first...
I slowly got up, pain stinging in my fresh cuts. I  padded cautiously up to the unknown wolf who stumbled up onto their paws.
They looked straight at me.
"You" they mumbled in a surprise sort of way.
"Yes?" I answered in a quite voice.
"Your... Ices son aren't you?" The wolf asked.
"Y-yes I am, how did y-" I began,
"Winter!" A voice yelped happily.
It was Ice as he skidded up to us.
"I though it was you!" Ice barked.
"Ice!" He gleamed then turned to Fox.
"Uhh... Squirrel, right?" He asked.
"Ha! No, it's Fox" Fox laughed.
Winter smiled then turned back to ice again.
"I'm so glad to see you again, oh and Clouds had pups! four of them!" Winter beamed on.
"Really? Well you'll have to take me then" Ice replied.
"Uhh... hello?!" I barked sort of rudely. Ice turned his head to me.
"What?"
"What's going on? I'm confused and need some catching up- first of all, well where are we going exactly? who's Cloud, how do you know each other and most importantly why are you acting so happy Ice, it's not normal for you have you got some sort of weird illness?" I said in a grumpy confused way.
"Oh- yes. Were going to winters camp, Cloud is my sister, Winters my brother and I'm happy because I haven't seen him in so long, if you had sibling you'd be happy to see them again" Ice informed happily.
"Well, that helps slightly- wait! since when did you have siblings!" I ask surprised skipping over what he said about me not having any siblings.
"Since I was born"
"Well obviously, but why have you never told me you have siblings?"
"Well because, hmm how can I put this in the nicest way? Well, you annoy me and it never came up so..." ice shrugged
"Well, that's helps... a bit" i grumbled.

As we walked into Winters camp Wolves turned to look at us, they look hostile for a bit until they saw Ice and calmed down.
A large Brown wolf walked down to us.
"Ice" he said.
"Gauge" Ice replied back.
"What brings you here then?" Gauge spoke then started speaking again,
"Oh, Winter must of told you about Clouds pups, right? Well their in training now actually, want to meet them?" (In training or pups in training is just what they call apprentices))
"Yes, definitely!" Ice smiled.
Gauge turned to me, "your son?" He aksed, Ice nodded then they both exchanged a glance but before I could say anything a voice howled excitedly from across the clearing.
"Ice!"
That must be Cloud.
As She walked towards us four pups came running across to us.
"Ohh newbies!" A White and brown pup said.
"Look at that scar! Wow! That's worst than Winters!" A brown pup said just as Cloud shoved the brown pup and shook her head.
They was talking about me... That pup needs to learn some manners though!
"Ohh! Is mother's other brother here? Ice wasn't it?" A small fluffy gray and white pup squeaked with strange blue eyes staring into the unknown.
"Are they staying here mother? Can they?" A little pale golden pup yipped.
"They might stay for a night if we're lucky" Cloud responded.
Cloud looked at ice.
"Nice to see you again ice"
"You too Cloud" ice nodded back.

We decided to stay a night at their camp while Ice talked with his siblings and the pack leader, Gauge. I made a temporary nest between a rock and a Bramble bush.
Oh no! I was meant or hunt with Rose today, I hope she isn't to disappointed... I wondered.
Clouds pups, Sliver, Splash, Sand and Glide were nearly all the same age as me and nearly made hunters a few sunrise ago but had to have it put back because of their journey back here from what they call the... Uhh Alpha peaks it was, yes. Oh but definitely a good thing they weren't! Someone needs to teach them to be more polite- well to wolves who aren't their enemies at least.
I settled down into my nest, curling around into it until I found a comfortable position.
I closed my eyes and waited as I drifted off into sleep.
